Hiya
Sorry I am going to be a nuisance. If possible could I please alter the amount stated on the previous years thread. No. 82 at £13000 please. I have calculated wrong (by about £3000 inc 2 hols I hadn’t budgeted for). It is in the late 12000’s so will top up any savings with the rest for the sake of a nice round number xxJan 2025 £26561.43/£0. I want to clear £9000 this year (2025)0 -
Hi could I join please,
I'm new this year with a debt of £5763
Thanks0 -
Hi Muppets. Unfortunatley again I didn't manage to get debt free
I got VERY close though to under the £1000 mark, however a few unexpected things came up the last 5 months that meant I had to reach for my credit card again
In total my debt is up to £3,500. I've rounded that figure up to the nearest £100 to make it even lol. This year WILL be the year I am finally debt free and I will have managed to put savings away also.Pay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -

Hi Muppets - first payment off my debt made today - a net payment of £60 off my £6500 target - my total debt had gone up a few hundred over the £18K total after Xmas expenses(!!).... a little bit demoralising, but to be honest after Xmas I'm not surprised, I was never going to be able to clear a huge amount over and above that excess, which I'm not including as part of my target as this was all incurred in December
Looking forward to a much quieter January spending-wise, will be tightening my belt (if it fits after Xmas food!) and expect to make bigger inroads once I get paid again on 30th January....0 -

Do you want us to post first payment on here after 1st Jan or doesn't it matter.
