  • Hiya could I please join
  • I want to pay off £6000.
  • I'd love to join please, after years of lurking on these boards and far too many failed attempts at keeping myself focused 2019 is the year I'm hoping to utilise the support and inspiration to hit some targets.

I'll be aiming for £1240 which would clear our loan and credit card balances.
  • Can you put me down for 5750 to clear......not sure how, but I need to find a way.

    365 Saving challenge #37 £50/£671.61
  • Sorry muppets, I've miscalculated and my final total is £3390.

Im currently paying monthly DD of £200 so that leaves me with £990 to find extra over the next year which I think is doable.
Completing the sealed pot challenge along side £2 coin saving challenge which when I count this end of nov will be coming off the debt along with any extra through each month by carefully watching all the pennies. Sure I've got approx £250 potted so far so a great start. Any extra will go towards a treat next Xmas.
Determined to get rid of this debt once and for all as it's been hanging over me for years!

Hi Muppets and thanks in advance for all your help this year
Grateful if you could add me. I have £8351 on my 0% CC. As its 0% I will be saving into a couple of N*tionwide flexi savers which will give me £6K by Dec 19 and will use my £2019 from the other thread to overpay the rest weekly (not weakly). I will track repayments and savings together as they are all going to the same place - fungible money sounds irresponsible but I am determined!

On top of this I will be making regular payments on car loan and mortgage and to DD2 at Uni. But lets gloss over that for now and concentrate on the killing the card in 2019. The others will be over in 2020
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine
  • I'd love to join. Could you put me down for £4,000 please.

This includes my current outstanding debt of £2,801 plus some extra to cover expenses for a month long trip I have booked and the start of an emergency fund.

Me again Muppets and its another case of 1 step forward 32 steps back as I don't think I managed to clear anything at all last year.

I think my figure is around £7000ish but I know I most likely wont be able to clear it all as I'm getting married in October! Lets try and get pretty close.
All the figures are in my house so if we start at 7000 I can get it updated as soon as I'm home.

    Virgin Money £0/£1445
    TSB £0/£659.53
    BOM £0/£1480
    Tesco £8.36/£4647.26
    Total £8.36/£8231.79 0.101%
