I have no idea what I’m doing on this forum.
I joined and have a username and that’s about all I know.
Never been able to post anything successfully YET???
Just thought I’d let you all know I have paid off ALL my debt 5 months in advance. I got serious in February and have paid £15000 off since then and cash flowed a holiday in Cornwall costing around £2000 in total too!
It can be done!!! :beer:

Time to pop in!

I've been making my maximum possible repayments over the last few months. Sadly nothing extra off the cards. HOWEVER I have really got myself in order planning for annual big spends (birthdays. holidays, car insurance) to the point where any extra is going into my saving pots. The benefit being no nasty surprises needing to be put on my credit cards. Yippee!!

#55 now paid £3284.53 / £5,422

Well done to medschoolmum, buffythedebtslayer and bestlifenow!

Minimum payments made by me today. I closed the MBNA card but of course they can't give me a settlement figure and I'll have to pay 6p of interest next month but their systems can't actually accept a 6p payment so I'll have to ring them up from abroad to sort it out and who knows what they will do about it - what fun!

Just want to say thanks to all- I’m 100% certain I wouldn’t have had got this particular debt cleared anything like as quick without all your support- couldn’t have done it without yers :beer:

I plan to stick around- my plan now is to try hard to get cc3 down to a level where I may be able to clear it in 2020 in which case I’ll join you all again then. Whenever I get the urge to spend rather than clip the debt I’ll come on here for some “aligning”
