Clearly this is an impulsive young man who shoots from the hip. He sees a log cabin in a garden centre, or an advert for a £70,000 electric super car on Facebook and he acts swiftly and faces the awful consequences later.

He should still enjoy all the benefits of the Consumer rights Act.
