In the work context, companies seem to love Active Directory/Single Sign On. Is there an equally convenient and comprehensive Linux equivalent?0

There many Directory Servers on linux and of course LDAP for accessing them(which of course can access AD too). AD is just Microsoft's implemention of LDAP, Kerberos and DNS.
