I think my rates 45-50%. I had a look on a repayment calculator just to see.
If i spent the 3100 and repaid 100 a month- as anything less said it would never repay itself, then it would take over 9 years to repay and would cost 9000 plus. !!!
Im not going to do this dont worry.
In other news i finally got my refund from my shopping delivery that never was. Only took nine days. Good job its not the end of my pay month eh.
Cashwise i have 37 pounds odd in my purse and some shopping to buy. If im being strict to my challenge i will just need to buy bits to last till tuesday. Ill keep you posted. I have 10 in the budget that i didnt withdraw but i need a new house and car key as mine are lost (in the house) Its been nearly two weeks since they have been seen and im worried the littles may have binned them or something. I think my spare 10 pounds needs to be kept in reserve to start off my key fund.

9 days for a refund that isn't of your fault is ridiculous!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Well ive not found the keys so ive bought a new one as a door/car key is a must. Im certain they will miraculously appear now Ive spent money but i did look everywhere. The littles also got some birthday money and after some thinking as to whether its the right thing to do i have used some towards the passports. Two passports paid for with a combination of second job wages and a bit of birthday/survey money. They just need countersigning and sending back. Third little wont have a photo taken so no point applying yet.
In other news the credit card i was using for shopping and petrol then repaying each month is on track to be fully paid by july as planned. That way im paying as i go not a month in arrears. Im having a cash week again this week for food and petrol though ive still got the card for ordering online and things but im planning to move to cash and debit card only.
Natwest has acknowledged my complaint about the money they claim I owe so its a waiting game to see what happens and if they will take off the interest. Hopefully it wont take too long for them to respond. it really is demotivating that the debt is above 30k again. Income will be slow this week as i had last weekend off which was absolute bliss and only have one short shift this week.Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213

All sounds like it's going well. Shame about the keys though. They will definitely turn up now!
Hope you hear about the complaint soon x"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Cash week news so far. 110 cash withdrawn yesterday added to 5 left over from last week. Have spent some on petrol but may need more as agency shift is miles away..
Have bought one mothers day gift and done a small shop, will need fresh stuff as the week goes on but being stingy to allow for budget to balance on payday. £32.50 in purse to last till tuesday. X
Ive also handed in the bank staff application for my old job. And they pay for the dbs check if im recruited so its all good.Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213

30 in my purse. Going to get more petrol though as car seriously playing up. It randonmly doesnt start and can take 10-15 minutes to ignite at its worst but then will go weeks at a time without doing it. Battery was done before xmas, alternator is reasonably new and they checked all the glow plugs. Ive narrowed it down to either being when the tank is below half, using the heater or something else.... It will still drive for miles so i know the petrol gauge is reasonably correct but it seems to happen less if i have over half a tank???? And its always worse in wet drizzly rain.any thoughts welcome if you read this and an obvious answer springs to mind.
Im also waiting on a letter from natwest. I got a call yesterday from them explained it from my point of view and they said if i repay the 750 they will drop the interest and charges. I got the impression this would happen if i repaid in full which i cant so i need to wait for the letter before i change my signature. She said she needed to speak with her manager to decide whether i was going to pay natwest or the collections agency then ring me back. I said either or it makes no difference to me i just want the charges removed.

How old is your car? Could it be starter motor or distributor? I ad similar issues and it was fixed by getting the distributor and spark plugs replaced."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Thanks jwil, Cars ancient. 15 + years old. Its a diesel so glow plugs are like the spark plugs. Garage said they were okay. Possibly starter motor maybe ill have to ask garage to see if its an expensive job. Im just trying to limp on as long as possible with it but its in the garage every 2-3 months even if i ignore the jobs that should get done but arent legally or cosmetically required. Oh to win the lottery eh. Id have to enter first though xJan 18 Joint debts 35,213

Not posted in a month. Wow how time flies. Got a little de motivated being back over the 30 k, have been getting all obsessive over it which is no good if its going to take so long. Obsession is only good if its a short term all effort in task. My savings goals and my debt are both longer term so need slow and steady win the race.Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213
