Discovering how bad TSB are

I've just opened an account to get their interest deal. Thank god that's all I'm using it for. My activation code arrived today. But the website doesn't accept it. There's a 'generic exception' code every time I try to use it. And the mobile banking app is so crap it won't even download. Are TSB going under because they sure should be. :rotfl:

Looks like they'll be implementing live fixes to their online application system too then...

It was an error with the TSB app. I was using Google Play. Looking at the comments I'm surprised it's working at all. Terrible list. I've managed to download it now but it's still no good to me because the activation system doesn't work so I can't unlock my internet banking. Using TSB is like pulling teeth.

I should have taken the hint when I had to wait over a month to be able to apply for the account because their website wasn't allowing applications. Always listen to your gut instinct! :rotfl:

I have just opened a TSB account all went very well I downloaded the app yesterday and it works fine my debit card arrived within 7 days

I have the same problem with internet banking. The activation code doesn't work

I've not really had any problems with my TSB account.
Interest is what keeps me though.

Sorry, but no great sympathy for anyone opening an account recently after all the publicity of the foul up in April (and beyond.)

I would say that hearing that they are finally paying out compensation (or whatever you want to call it!) almost 8 months after the event should give anyone a clue that..... they are not speedy........& that they may not yet have solved all the IT problems.
