nothing exciting to report here, just drivel!;) had along day at work but now I've got 3 days off:j DH still feeling rough with his sciatica - he seized up several times today. The teacher who promised to ring me at work to discuss my son didn't ring:mad: so I will get on to him on Monday to see whats going on.

JANNYANNIE - Many thanks for your recipe. I will definitely give it a go; I have most of the ingredients except the borax. I have very dry skin and I'm still trying to find the 'perfect' moisturiser. Thanks again, and have a great weekend!

Evening all.
Hope you are all ok, not had chance to read all the thread, so hugs if needed ((()))
Spent the morning sorting xmas pressies out only to discover i have alot more than i thought (even though i still can find one thing i know iv bought!!) so felt alot better and between me and dh made a list of everything we need to complete xmas.
So popped to town and got alot of the list, and think by next week ill have xmas in the bag!! Cant belive ill be finished, iv never been so organised.

Just about to open a bottle of white and sit and watch a film will Dh, ds1 gone off to friends for the night, and dd in bed and other 2 happly playing in bedrooms, so hoping for a nice relaxing evening.

Hello everyone:hello:

All's quiet at the SnowyOwl abode...except for the kitties who are intent on wearing holes on the stair carpet by running up and down like loonies.

I'm really happy because I have a whole entire week off wo*k:j:j:j woo hoo!! I've got to make the most of it, so that means a bit of hardcore cleaning, filing, tidying, jam-making, baking, store cupboard purging and car cleaning. I can't wait to get started, but the first thing I am going to do tomorrow morning is snore my ickle head off...

Shez...you tell us that you have lost yet another pound (well done!) then you torture us by boasting of croissants and brioches. So tell me, did you put the Rachel Allen cake in the bin...or did you "test" it first??:rotfl:

MrsMacawber, you put me to shame with how well you are doing with your weight loss efforts! I have been telling myself that I really need to do some exercise, and do lots of walking. But as they say "tomorrow never comes" and so it is put off for another day and my butt remains lardy.

I hope everyone with colds/flu and those having to put up with dreadful pain get some relief soon.

Evening folks,

I have spent most of today sorting out stuff from upstairs ready for my car boot on sunday, although as it is an indoor one, we can go and set up tomorrow between 3 and 5. Then doors open at 7.30 on Sunday. :eek:

Was at work tonight, 5-7pm and then Mr Twit and I went to my grandparents as they are selling a vehicle and someone wanted to come round at 8.30 and pay by cheque. All sorted and we have persuaded the chap to pay cash if he wants it.

My hopes of a lie in this weekend have vanished. Miss Twit has to be at school for 8.30 tomorrow as she has a netball match and sunday is the make Mrs Twit rich day.

Catch up with you all tomorrow....

Late as usual, have been very busy to-day so no time until a short while ago...tbh I should be knitting the other mitten of the pair I started for DGS2 after dinner.

Have finally managed to move the huge total of one pound from whichever lump it was on, think that actually confessing to what I have eaten every day is having some effect.

Grannybroon is, I hope having a good time on her trip...it is cold here but probably not as bad as Scotland ( hugs) so I am sure that she has brought her woolly hat etc.

Starting to see double, was up at 7.30 so its been a long day for me...tomorrow I plan on doing the Cmas pudding and some mince pies and might even try some decluttering of L.room, need to paint it before Cmas so will have an hour or two on that tomorrow....Oh for the five day week!!
