Good morning:hello:
It's a beautiful sunny day, but boy it is cold:snow_grin ( okay I exaggerate, not cold enough for snow, but you get the gist:D )
ageandjo, catowen comes around less regularly than she used to, but does pop in. As for your thanks button, can't help there. I often have to confuse mine by going through the thread more than once, since it often has a mind of its own:rotfl:
You're obviously having lunch out, so enjoy yourself PenPen ! After yesterday's efforts I think you're covered until New Year 2009 (just don't tell MRSMCAWBER;) )
OS today will consist of cleaning the windows, now you can listen MRSMCAWBER:rotfl: I shall have rather more grime to get off mine than you ever have:o
Last nights *all different* dinners worked well. In fact rather than feeling I was using up the odd portions, the family seemed to think it was treat time all choosing different
Pooky, hope the move goes well, and enjoy your new home with stairs;)
Mrs mix hope ds2 feels better soon.
Forgot to congratulate you on your ring Hilstep. Sorry for the sad news for your mum.
Well best get started,

Hello everybody,
Did the house out this morning, caught up with the washing, ironing & general bits and pieces. Made some cereal & a slice. Got the application sorted so should hear something mid week. DH feeling a lot better tonight but had to take the day off. He's working tomorrow.
I ordered some dish cloth cotton to try my hand at them. I'm useless at that sort of thing usually but I just fancy doing some knitting atm.I have a half finished tapestry I should be finishing but it's at a hard part.
The sun is shining again so I may go out in the yard tomorrow.
Pooky Good luck with the move.

:wave:Morning all :wave:I didn't get a good night sleep as I was in loads of pain and just couldn't settle, hence I feel really tired now. I'm on a go slow today to try and ease the pain in my back/leg/foot.
Asda delivery is coming today, but if it's the usual driver he carries the shopping into the kitchen for me, which is nice of him as he's not supposed to.
I've a load to go into the washing machine and a general clean up is needed. Dinner will be a HM ready meal I think tonight, perhaps curry or spag bol.
Congrats on the weight loss MRSMCAWBER:T
Good luck for your son sitting his first 11+ Pink-winged

Morning all
hope those of you and your children who are unwell feel much better soon. Bit late today as I have been back to my sons school to finish off some gardening work. They are hoping to grow lots of veg for the children to eat. It really is lovely to be involved.
It's very bright and windy here on the Kent coast. Hopefully all my washing will be dry soon.
Plan to go to farm shop in a bit and the butchers.
Also have just made my first batch of moisturising cream. Haven't done that for a long time. My skin feels great.
I notice that some of you have chickens. Would love some but we have a fox who comes in our garden. Also I think psycho cat would probably eat them!
Soup in SC for tea.
Have a lovely day xxxx:A0 -

Just a very quick post as have just got home from work, about to swallow a bit of lunch and then we are off to the airport in about an hour.
I have only had a bit of a speed read but I gather there are some poorly kiddie-winks out there. Hope they get well soon. Also same message to the rest of you who may not be feeling too good. I think the thread cold may have crept to Scotland. I am alternately bunged up/nose running and a few sneezes. Tissues aplenty going across to Ireland methinks!
Really cold here this morning and I think it is even worse up north - snow!!!!!!!! Twink/Kyle hope it isn't too baltic where you are. Hope no-one suffers from the flooding - haven't had an update since early this morning.
Anyway, hope you all have a good weekend and that all is well with you and yours.
