MSE News: Small energy supplier One Select stops trading - what you need to know

It's now three days since Together Energy emailed me and I completed their OneSelect web form. I don't expect further personal contact yet but I do now expect them to publish their "special tariff for 6 months" that we will get.
Where is this information, Together - I should not have to phone you.
On their web site, I looked to see what I could sign up to. I was offered three fixed tariffs at the same price (12, 24 and 36 months; dual fuel). All were the same price and were missing from their on-line published details of tariffs (figures there exclude VAT). The forth was the "Freedom Variable" tariff which was different to that published on the web site with the standing charges down and the unit rate up.
Comparing their "Together Fixed December19" (no dual fuel bonus) with my OneSelect tariffs (dual fuel bonus and admittedly very good tariffs), I would have a 40.6% increase. However, they offer their "Together Fixed April19" tariff (no longer offered), the increase is 17%.
I am not optimistic of getting a reasonable tariff.

But, yes, sounds about right for the Office of Mega Fail that is Ofgem.0 -

I've had a text and email from Together telling me they have emailed instructions on how to send meter readings... but I haven't received the instructions!! I've replied to their text and email to say I haven't received them but no reply. I also can't get through by phone, don't even get put in a queue, it just cuts me off!!
Very frustrating as their prices are significantly higher than one select and Tariffs that are available on the market that I have found today. I'd like to get switching ASAP before I run up a big bill with them.0 -
Further to all the above. We have been with OneSelect again since recommended by this site and found them most competitive. This came as a shock having only just renewed in Sept with fixed tariff to Sept 19.
I have just checked out their 'Temporary Tariff' against my agree tariff with OneSelect and against my last bill for Oct it works out at and extra £30.00 per month plus VAT. Happy Days - we certainly didn't receive a good deal and as many other contributors have already mentioned it certainly is not competitive. Will switch at the very earliest opportunity.
Best of luck everyone.0 -

Hi Rawcopy, Where did you get the temporary tariffs? By email or have I missed a page on Together's web site?

I'm a little concerned this morning -logged into One Select account pages to find that my opening meter read has been removed - can only assume that First Utility (previous supplier)have disputed it??0
