  • Hi SF #39 reporting £255.19 for April.

I'm currently in a financial "state of despair". Lack of childcare & overtime cuts at work mean money is very lean with the summer months ahead it's going to be bumpy until the autumn when mini-me 2 starts nursery and gives me more opportunity to work.

Very late update for March, savings of £650.00 - form submitted.
Hopefully everyone is managing to save a little (or a lot, as your circumstances allow).
    2019 MFW No. 74 £13700/£30000 (45.66%)
    12k in 2018 No. 98 £6274.19/£18000 (34.85%)

    BTL (start) £97440.00 (current) £68000.00
    Residential (start) £275000.00 (current) £268000.00
  • So in regards to my previous post, we now have an offer accepted on a property; which means my savings are going to disappear over the next couple of months. Already paid the mortgage fee and cost for survey. I might just have to start from scratch come July (if we complete by then).

This month might still be okay, potentially might hit my monthly target, just depends on what needs to be paid when.

Keep up the good work everyone.

Reporting £36,676.37 for April but that includes an inheritance from my Mum's estate. Lots of tillytidying - it's surprising how it adds up.

Hahaha, me too. I'd love to be saving the full £12k, but when my entire income is £21k, it gets really unlikely. :rotfl:

Assuming no big spends or a catastrophic share drop, I am declaring £2,500 for April. As in the last couple of months, half of that was share recovery though which can be reversed. The Markets giveth and the Markets taketh away! :D

May and June will be expensive with a holidays, a wedding abroad and a course, so I won't be saving much then.

A third of the year gone already, I hope everyone is pleased about how much they've saved so far.

Final total for (half) year: -£4,000
  • Number 148 here reporting in for April:

    £756.67

    This includes savings interest.

Unfortunately it's still below my target of £1k per month but on reflection this time last year my savings were exactly ZERO.

A stag do next month before I get paid might possibly see me eating into those hard earned savings though.:beer:

I know that 'slowlyfading' has been kept busy with things at home lately which means she's not been able to update the spreadsheet as often as she'd like to, according to recent posts, but I suspect you could drop her a PM if you genuinely think she's missed you.
