    Hi Julicorn.
I would also love to rejoin although I lost my way a little over the year. I was #164 in 2018 and would love to retain that number if possible. My target is the same as 2018 which is £3200.
    Cheers

Am setting my target at £1000 for this year which is for our additional overpayments as already have some factored into our budget and repayments. This will give us an extra push and help maximise our new lower fixed rate. I wish i was more buy dh wants to 'live for the now' so we need to strike the balance and we also need to build our savings this year.

Thank you for investing the time into this challenge an I don't mind what number I am allocated.

Excellent, thank you for letting me know CathT! :)
Hi Julicorn - please can I join the challenge? We bought our first house yesterday and I've been waiting sooooo long to start making OPs! I'd like to aim for £500 a month OPs, so a total of £6,000 for the year

That's awesome, congratulations pinknsparkly! :) Welcome to the challenge, you're #99 now.

Excellent, thanks for letting me know bit by bit :)
  • Hi, I am new to the challenge. I would like a stretch OP target of £10k
  • Please can I join officially for 2019? I'm aiming for £1200, which I know isn't a huge amount but it's a stretch for me. I OP £50/month so it'd mean finding an extra £50/month from somewhere!
    Choose kind:)

Not sad at all, it’s incredibly addictive and so very satisfying to see that balance coming down. Good luck with your journey and hope you smash your OP target :)

Good evening all. Long term reader but first time poster on MSE... so please go easy on me :-) Anyway, I would like to throw my hat into the ring for 2019 and challenge myself to achieve a £15,000 slice off the mortgage by year end. Having been inspired by the many posters on this board, I may even FIRE up my own MFW diary along the way. Thanks very much. Ilselm

Not at all! It's such an awesome challenge, and overpaying is quite addictive, so definitely can't blame you ;)
