Well done everyone!
#51 Just transferred over £64.74 for July's overpayment bringing me to just below £9k left on my mortgage! :j
Now fighting the urge to raid all my savings pots and just pay the thing off...I know it doesn't make financial sense to do so but it is getting harder and harder to resist. (low int rate, ability to borrow overpayment pot back, payment holidays etc not to mention some spendy plans such as replacing windows and learning to drive & buying a car in the next year or 2 and the fact that some of the money I would use should be invested for retirement mean its a bad idea
) It'll be 25yrs since I received my original mortgage next month and that had been my original MF date when I started to overpay over a decade ago so its on my mind a lot. Arghhhhh! Step away from the spreadsheets! :rotfl:
Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Hi All
#46 reporting in with a July OP of £1043. I may slow down a little over the next couple of months as I want to ensure I have enough cash to do the house and I'm slightly changing focus to invest more - first payment this month into my Vanguard LS account!
I've already hit my target for the year, at £9436.18 so I'm not in a bad position - I may up it a little after Summer.
Good luck everyone
