Wow 5lbs is a big loss well done you. I daren't stand on the scales since although I've been doing lots of exercise I've been eating lots of rubbish as well. I will try and stand on the scales at some point today or tomorrow.
In London we're doing the open top bus tour around the city this time thanks ro Mr T vouchers and maybe a free museum or two. We're not having lunch out this time but bring lots of stuff to have on the hoof. TBH I want to know how mant Mr T vouchers we've got coming so we can decided whether we can go away in October half term. If we do this may use all of our vouchers up! I did want to do a trip to Legoland at the beginnign of the holidays as well (we're off at least a week before everyone else). I need to get myself organised for tomorrow and see what supplies I've got hidden in the cupboard.Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -
Oh, you will have a lovely fun day, hope the weather is kind to you
I'm debating saving my vouchers to put towards a summer holiday £100 vouchers buys you £400 virgin vouchers - perhaps I can reduce my holiday bill this way? Ive got £20 vouchers tucked away so far.
Anyway i'm rambling, have a lovely day tomorrow cgxCC Debt: Jan 10 £21,660 now £8,170 hurrah!0 -
Fairly productive day since I organised a BT on the PC purchase to the Virgin card at 0% until November. Plenty of time to get it cleared! Perhaps that is the motivation to finally get ebaying?
Day didn't go to plan since haircuts has had to be rearranged. At least it gives me a little more time to find the money....

HI there HTGDF no I've not started one since there's nothing much to say really. We're overpaying the mortgage to the max we can at present and we've reduced the term a couple of times as well to up what we can pay. When get we get off our tracker deal at the end of the year then potentially it could be more interesting. Goodness knows what the best thing for us will be then? Fingers crossed the work situation remains stable.Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0

We had a great wonderful time in London on Wednesday. The weather was fantastic, the kids were well behaved most of the time, great fun and great memories.
OH got his expenses (less than I would have expected so I am glad I've changed my system) but this has had to go off a little remaining overspending from last month. This does mean that I now have no remaining items outstanding at present. We've got to pay the balance for our holiday later in the month but its all been put aside so that is good.
I've got a rare day off tomorrow. OH isn't playing cricket, DD is out for most of the day and DS's are busy so I decided to go shopping. We've got a party next month (and its my birthday) so I'd like to buy an outfit to wear. I've a little money put aside for it so fingers crossed that I don't go over budget!

Nice one
Glad you had a great time, DS1 has gone to Alton Towers today with his big cousins - the end of an era I think, so you enjoy your time with the kids and make the most of every minute
Did you get anything on your shopping spree? I'm still on the chocolate bandwaggon - I had a minor slip where a mini bag of buttons fell into my mouth, but they hardly count at all lol! I'm hoping to have lost that stone for the end of June and if I can ive got about £70 left of that long service award I got, so will be able to treat myself hears to wine and sunshine! cgxCC Debt: Jan 10 £21,660 now £8,170 hurrah!0 -
