Just written a cheque for the balance of our holiday. Twice warm glow now 1) since we've got the money saved (I can still remember the days when we didn't) and 2) since I can now look forward to planning our hols. :TWorking Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0

ooh, holiday sounds fab!
The bra-fitting lady did look a bit shocked - she said "take off your shirt and leave your bra on" for me to be measured, and I almost burst into tears as I said "I haven't got one"I explained that I had had a very emotional "clear out" and she spent hours with me, very patiently, sorting me out - she was fab. If I had been on a M/S I would have given her one of those awful "certificates" for superb customer service!!

How nice that sounds so lovely. There should be more of that TLC around. D's are very good. I once (pre LBM days) had a quite recently post baby 3 personal shopping experience in D's and they were fabulous.Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0

I can't believe its been such a while since I posted. We seem to have spent money like water recently. I really don't know why since its on nothing tangible or thats what it felt like.
The food budget is completely gone west this month. Its not been helped by the fact that I did a big shop a little bit early (before payday last month) which has impacted on how much we've got to spend this month. We've also [STRIKE]had[/STRIKE] to buy a little more beer/wine to accompany the footie:o. So far we've overspent by £30 which doesn't sound too much but feel enormous since we've another weekend to go!! Payday is a week and a half away.
I'm tempted to rob the money from the petrol account which has a surplus at present this month (less travelling around for us both for work last month).
We've got an outstanding balance on the old B/Card of £127, HOYS tickets that I promised by DD for getting a good report (it is excellent) £70, clothes for me (most have been paid from my own account but a little are still outstanding - I will pay for them next month), clothes and shoes for DD (I get given things for boys which is a fantastic help).
All in all next month will be tight since I won't get my expenses (I missed the deadline) and OH's expenses won't cover the excess. The food budget will even out when we are on holiday but thats not for a while yet. The childcare budget for the holidays has come in under which is great and this has subsequently reduced the ongoing costs per month.
The update on the MFIT challenge has gong online, thanks FB and we are on 11.39% towards the target of paying off a wedge of our mortgage debt. :rotfl:Cause for cheering!Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -
