Telly has been acquired................kitchen is at present having holes drilled in it:eek:. I'm reconcilled to the TV now and the fact that there will be very little debt reduction next month. However we've not added to the debt which was how we bought the last v exp TV - bad old days lesson learnt.
Snow is now all gone and its raining, raining, raining but hey its not too cold which makes a very pleasant change.
Good luck with the MSing CGWorking Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -
haha, well done, enjoy your new TV bought with the fruits of your labour and all paid for, enjoy!
Done my MS but can't find the wire to connect my pc to camera! Typical!
DS1 just come downstairs in jeans he got at xmas and they are literally falling off him - maternal instincts kicking in big time! Must feed him up! Off to bak scones cgxCC Debt: Jan 10 £21,660 now £8,170 hurrah!0 -
I was reconcilled to paying the bare min off the debt at the end of the month because of the TV purchase. The non council tax money has already been earmarked for paying off OH's clothes spending over the Xmas period. Then....
OH only won £200 in his sports club draw. We've been in it for years and never won a penny (I've often argued that the £5pm was not worth it!!) and at Christmas we won in the raffle a years entry the first number of which has now come out:D.
I'll now enjoy the new purchase (:o) safe in the knowledge that at least £300 will be paid off the debt this month fingers crossed.
I'm just trying to figure out my annual leave/childcare commitments for the year.....the summer hols aren't looking good at present.Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -

The win was great news, very nice thank you.
Childcare in the holidays is always a balance. I feel my guilty working parent mode come on in the summer hols. Its actually not quite as bad as I thought. the DS's will have to go for 10 days to childcare which isn't too bad in 6.5 weeks.Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -

Yeap its not too bad is it. It means they are at home with me (!!) more than they are elsewhere. Mind you by the end of the hols they'll be driving me barmey but I wouldn't really have it any other way.

I might get a couple of days at the Grandp's but I don't like to impose them. They love going there though. Its the balance between having to work, minimising childcare and wanting them to have some kick back time, play out, do lovely summer things!Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0
