Sadly I have a lot further to go so I am working on milestones at the moment. Really peed off with the job so they are all financial rather than personal.
18 months till the sharesave matures - currently up 78% on option price so it would be annoying to just get the cash back if I left.
3 years till I turn 55 and get lots more choices as a result of access to pension money.
I went to a retirement seminar last week which didn't tell me anything new but did confirm what I thought I knew. I was shocked at the lack of understanding in most of the audience - by the end the presenter was referring to me for confirmation on various aspects!!!

You will be now I've planted the earworm. Cue trumpet synth!!!
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.38% of current retirement "pot" (as at end April 2024)

Same here. I found it looking for songs about giving up work. I love the song title!

    I don't care anymore - Phil Collins.

I'm sure this wasn't the reason behind the lyrics, but they kinda fit!!!

"I've got better things to do with my time..."
