  • So much for saving my Christmas money.
I realised that some things were as cheap as they were gonna get. So ins today:
Boots-two Protect and perfect kits. (Couldn't find the big one so I got)
-Total renewal microdermabrasion exfoliator 2x 25ml My new HG exfoliator so that's good.
-Radiant results Micellar 2x 30ml (not used the one from last year yet. I have a stash.)
-Youthful facial oil 2x 15ml I do like this.
-Protect and perfect advanced serum 2x 5ml HG
    -Day cream 25ml x 2
    Night cream 25ml x2
Both boxes came to £20 which is cheaper than one full sized day cream.

I bought 3 full sized serums on 3 for 2.
Vichy Purete thermale face wash-full price
La Roche posay Cicaplast baume 40ml-full price
    Pixi Glow tonic HG
Vitamin c face serum superdrug half price
Calm skin face mist from Superdrug half price-great ingredients list but smells awful.
Caudelie eau de beaute-half price at John Lewis in christmas packaging.

I don't think I'll be needing face stuff now for the year.:rotfl:

I purposely stayed away yesterday and, although disappointed that there was no online sale, am relieved now that there wasn’t.

honestly there was SO MUCH stuff, at least in my shop which is one of the bigger ones. I think it'll take a few days to sell out.

  • In estee lauder block buster. the eye shadows are pale neutrals and have loads of transition shades.
vichy face wash and mini moisturizer

Out give away loads of unopened colours that i must have been wearing sun glasses buying. So they suit the recipient more than me but glad for it to go from mistaken to hopefully used.

I have been good with the sales and so far nill in but who knows. I am looking for a new fragrance

Hi! New to MSE but long time lurker. I’ve been a bit in denial but after some extended family got me a number of gift sets for Xmas I decided to do a stock take and had a....shock! Think around 7kg in total of shower gel (I’m a lush addict...) and 4kg of body lotions (please give me tips to use these up!). And lots of make up (I don’t wear much usually because I’m lazy....but I do like to look nice). Oh and I have a massive body spray/perfume addiction.

The good news is some things I am on top of - hair products, deodorant, dental stuff, and the bath bomb pile is decreasing. Ok that’s not much. But I’m determined to stick with this and get the stash down in 2019. All advice welcome :)

Welcome to the thread! From the amount of shower gel and body lotion you have, you will not need to buy anything until at least Autumn. Once I get my toiletries for Christmas, I never buy anything until September. :)

Welcome MsM09 - the only tip for using things is actually using them I'm afraid, oh and not buying anymore till you need to.

    uu

Soap & Glory Archery Brow Pencil - this is the one with a spoolie at one end and a super thin pencil at the other. It was an excellent product and I loved using it but WNBA because there is just too much unrecyclable plastic left at the end.

So yesterday I went out with just the intention of buying a new foundation with AP. Initially, we had to go to Specsavers to collect Emma’s new glasses which is in the town that I work. I’ve mentioned before that the only decent shops in that town are Sally’s and Superdrug. MRM wanted to walk around town so I found myself in Sally’s. All OPI Christmas lacquer we’re reduced massively. I bought 2 x full sized for £3.50 each and the advent calendar containing 25 minis for £21. I have split these with Emma so have 13 new minis. I think that nail lacquer will have to be my one exception from the No Buy because it’s the one compulsion I can’t desist from.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
