I did WB - I love having a meander around the garden centre looking at everything. In my ideal world I'd come away with trees, plants and fruit bushes but in reality I stick 4 tubs of bedding plants in the trolley and that's it for the year :rotfl: xx
I know what you mean Beanie. I struggle to keep house plants alive as well. I'm not bad with gardening and have grown loads from seed in the past but as soon as anything needs pruning it's doomed. I've already managed to kill a beautiful rose I bought only a couple of years agoxx

Morning
Day 2/31, Prolific, £4.31 cleared, £1.46 pending, Spends £30
Having my hair cut this afternoon so I'll be using the £20 I've already saved. It feels good to have money set aside for things like this. There'll be a bit of change to that will go into the Treats pot.
Also need to go and vote and then I'm going to try and get in the garden and plant up some pots, although the weather's looking a bit dodgy. There's no rush though, they're fine as they are for a few days.
Hope you all have a good day. Xx0 -

Our cinema is a complete rip off and a very well known brand. There is a cheaper one about 40minutes drive away but you have to pay to park. My friend said it's a fab film, but I'm not a fan of dc or marvel. Trying to decide if I'll go and watch something else.
Congratulations on the CC! Anything that saves interest has got to be good! I'm slowly trying to rebuild our EF but if I could clear all the CC I would in a heartbeat. Ours still 0% until later in the year so not rushing to move EF over just yet. Finally Debt Free 24/4/20230 -
That's quite a journey CG and if you have to pay to park it probably ends up being swings and roundabouts. DD heads for The Printworks in Manchester which doubly surprises me it's that cheap
If I had 0% I definitely wouldn't be dipping into our funds but I don'tBetter to keep your EF while you've still got the deal. xx

Have a lovely day Tea.
The cinema here is quite expensive I thinkAlthough I'm probably just tight :rotfl: Although the light cinema looks quite reasonable. I've not been to the cinema in a very long time. I'm rubbish at sitting still for long enough!

Hi WB
I think in general it's an expensive night out especially if you want the full trip of popcorn and drinks but DD is quite savvy and goes to the supermarket first
Don't know if it's your DS's thing but if he needs any cinema buddies DD and DS both want to go again! Perfect for lads as no social interaction is needed :rotfl: Seriously, PM me if he fancies it. xx

A couple of PA surveys cleared this afternoon so I've managed to cash out another £5 :T Also had my hair cut, I was in and out in just over 30 minutes, just the way I like it :rotfl: - total cost including a small tip £16 so the £4 left has gone into the caravan pot.
I was going to plant the pots up but didn't have any compost. Must have used it all last year so I need to buy some next week when I'm out and about. I did walk to the voting station though to hand my vote in as I'd left it too late to post.
Weather is looking iffy for the weekend so might have to re-think the farm trip. Think I'll check out what's on at the library as a stand by. xx0 -
I stick to bedding plants usually too because they're meant to die after a year :rotfl:. I'm quite successful with dwarf Azaleas and Hydrangeas, but they don't need pruning. I'm hopless with Roses too.
I think cinema trips are very expensive too, even if you sneak your own food and drink in like we always do.
