Morning
Day 1/31, Prolific, £3.96 cleared, £1.81 pending, Spends £30
I've had a think about my pots for May and with another half term coming up and the caravan pot looking sorry for itself after Easter, I've decided to shuffle a little bit of money around and top it up. So the pots are looking like this for May:
Savings: £50.00
DS: £50
Dogs: £50.00
Hairdressers : £20
Christmas : £60.00
Christmas Charity : £15.00
Caravan : £30
Credit Card: £40
Treats : £20
The CC bonus pot has been removed as the debt will be gone in July and a new Treats one has been added, although this won't get a monthly amount paid in, it'll be topped up with any left over spends.
I'm working with my usual £240 this month. We're going out for a rare meal in a couple of weeks so I'm putting the extra £45 into the kitty for that. I don't think it will be much more as it's a take your own booze curry house. So after paying into the pots I've got £30 per week spends.
Hope you all have a good day. xx0 -
Morning lovely,
The eldest was so disappointed I think hubby will take them on Monday. I'd rather save the £9:rotfl: just watching the weather and the weekend looks chilly! I had hoped to get few jobs in the garden done. I'm still plodding on but getting a little stronger by the day.
Pots looking great and did I read that right? Your CC will be gone in July? :beer:Finally Debt Free 24/4/20230 -

Hi CG - glad to read you're feeling a bit better every day
Without giving anything away myself DD said she was sat next to a beefy 20 year old bloke at the cinema who blubbed his eyes out at the end - mind you she said most people were doing the same :rotfl: Your cinema is expensive.
It only costs DD and DS £5.50 each. We've got a little one with us on Saturday and we're planning a trip to a farm to feed the lambs, but not if it's cold or wet!
Yes, the card is going in July. Cash funds are building back up and hubby is happy for me to dip into them to pay it off. It'll save me quite a bit on interest but of course I still need to pay it back, but it definitely feels better it being in-house debt
Hi WB - we've been to the garden centre and bought some plants for the garden this morning so I enjoyed that. Came home and made the perfect poached egg on toast for lunch - I don't often have much luck with them so I feel the need to document it :rotfl: xx0 -
That will be great for you to pay off the CC :T. At least you won't have to pay DH interest
.
DH and DS1 have gone to see Avengers this afternoon and have been gone for about four hours so far! I hate being trapped in a cinema for hour and hours, you don't even get a toilet break .
I love buying plants for the garden, it can get spendy though can't it, especially if you manage to kill them off! Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Hi HHD - yes, no interest will definitely make a big difference to getting it paid off.
Hope DH and DS enjoy the film. I think it's 3 hours plus the trailers but DD and DS assured me it doesn't feel that long - I'll take their word for it :rotfl:
I'm OK with plants that don't need pruning or cutting back - I always manage to kill those ones off so I tend to stick to type that can look after themselves.xx

I'm the worst person in the world at keeping plants alive
Sounds like you had a lovely day
