Did you have the thunder storm Tea?

P.S I live in fluffly socks too! DS thinks I'm crazy.

Ooh I like a challenge HHD :D Maybe I'll do just that. :D

We did WB One of those scary ones where it just went really dark in seconds and the heavens opened. Hailstone then a downpour. I do love a good thunderstorm though. Fluffy socks are a must. :p xx

    Hello :)

    Day 27/30, Prolific £1.16 cleared £1.14 pending, Spends £13

It's blowing a gale today and raining - a lot! Receipt Hog money has cleared which was quicker than I expected and I'm also halfway to another £5 cash out on Prolific. :T

I've paid for DD and DS to go and see Avengers Endgame tomorrow from the joint account. DD has already been to watch the first midnight viewing with a friend but DS was in school the day after so didn't get to go with them. She's kept her promise to him though and they're off to see it tomorrow afternoon.

New spends don't come in until Wednesday but I'm itching to top the pots up again and start over.

Hope you're all having a cosy dry day. xx

What a shame about the scarf. But you did have the pleasure of planning as well as the knowledge that you could have had it should it have been the right thing.
Another vote for the library here, ours also does downloadable books if that's your thing - personally I like a proper book in my hands.

You're right JJ - looking at the scarves on line and choosing was actually good enough for me. There was a time when I had to stop myself doing that when we'd booked a holiday. After an hour of 'investigating' where we were going I felt like I'd already been there and had the holiday :rotfl:

I need a book in my hand too. There's nothing quite like turning a proper page over. :D xx

I love reading too! Its not the same trying to read on my phone.

I hope you're not too soaked. I think even the ducks would be fed up with how wet it is today!

It's the wind more than anything WB - the awning is all but taking off - good job hubby knocked a few more pegs in last weekend. :D I'm also having to dodge the rain to take the dogs out and it always seems to stop just as I've settled down to cross stitch so I have to keep putting it down. Irritating. :rotfl: xx
