Thanks Beanie and HHD. He's still laughing about reading numbers rather than letters and the reaction of the optician.
So, Good Morning Everybody
Day 24/30, Prolific £0 pending 76p, Spends £23
Had a couple more surveys yesterday that cleared straight away so I can cash out another £5. :T I've had an automated email from RH. They're verifying my request which will take 7 days.Honestly, Shoppix knocks spots off them. When I cashed out with them, I'm sure it was in my account the same day.
Completely out of the blue I'm able to get to Debenhams today so I'm going to have a look at scarves and see what I think.
DS has an awards evening tonight that he doesn't really want to go to but the voucher prize is definitely a sweetener. The actual ceremony is only an hour but by the time we've got there and got back it'll be nearer 2 hours we're out of the house.
Managed to get a load of bedding washed and dried yesterday. Just as well as the weather's changed today and it's raining.
Right, off to have a read of what everybody is up to. Have a good day. xx0 -
Happy shopping

Scarf shopping was very disappointing. They only had one of my choices in Debenhams and tbh it felt like something I'd buy off the market for £4.99, so I wasn't paying £26 for it. Accessorize had a lovely one which was exactly how I imagined a pure silk scarf to feel but I've got quite a few scarfs in soft pastel colours so didn't want to buy a similar coloured one.
I didn't come away empty handed though.Hubby treated me to a bottle of Chanel No. 5 so I'm sat here smelling absolutely wonderful, even if I do say so myself :rotfl: xx

It's a shame the silk scarves weren't up to scratch but I'm glad you got treated to some perfume

Haha Beanie - I definitely don't follow in Marilyn Monroe's footsteps though. I might wear perfume to bed but also PJ's and sometimes fluffy socks :rotfl::rotfl:
I was quite disappointed HHD. I'd got myself all excited for buying something specialBut no point parting with my money if I wasn't getting the purchase vibe. Better to keep the money in my pocket. xx

I agree TF2, better to save your treat money until you see the perfect scarf.
