I'm glad I'm in good company HG. But I would like to 'want' something a bit more than a caramel ice-cream although they were particularly delicious :) xx

Beanie, my go to treat would normally be a box of champagne truffles but I just can't buy any until I've lost some weight. I'd feel under pressure to eat my way through the lot in one night so I could get on with my diet :rotfl: xx

I need to loose some weight too.
Not doing well on that front at the moment though!

You really don't need to lose weight Tea!

And I'm sure you don't either Beanie.

Glad you had a lovely time away. Do you have any plans for the weekend?

That's kind of you to say WB but I think I just disguise it well. ;) Imagine Humpty Dumpty - limbs are fine but the middle bit needs a lot of work :rotfl:

We're having a quiet weekend at home hoping to spend some time in the garden. Relatives are round for afternoon tea on Sunday, so I really do need to to be good tomorrow so I can have cake and strawberries & cream :o xx

Happy Easter Everybody. Hope you're all having a lovely day. Weather is gorgeous here and sandwiches, cakes and strawberries are all ready for afternoon tea - yummy.

I've been having a little browse on the internet and have seen a lovely silk scarf I like the look of. Do I need it - no. Would I wear it - yes, occasionally. Would I like to own a pure silk scarf just for the sake of it before I pop my clogs - definitely. :D Should I buy it - not sure, although I'm well past the fashion stage now and I would like to get a few really nice bits in my wardrobe so maybe I should.

So that's my conundrum of the day and I'm very grateful it's the only 'problem' I have, along with deciding how many cakes to eat ;) xx
  • Buy the silk scarf TF2. If you wear it occasionally and take pleasure in it then it's worth the money :).

    Enjoy your afternoon tea :).

Thank you HHD. :) You know what I think I will. It's not a brand name so isn't over the top expensive and it's in the sale so that makes it better, right ;)

I'm not a clothes person and the things I've got I've had for years and I'm still happy wearing them, but I think next on the list will be a pair of good leather boots. I buy a cheapish pair every 3 or 4 years that do the job but I replace them with pretty much the same style, so I'd be fine with spending more money on things that last because I'm not bothered about having something that looks 'different' every time.

I'm thinking this could be my mission over the next few month out of my 'treats' pot - a few good quality items of clothing/accessories that will last me. xx
