    Day 26/31, NSD's 13/15, Prolific £1.50 cleared, £1 pending, Cash for 22nd-31st March £0

I did my usual supermarket comparison pricing and shopping around today and managed to save over £6 so I made an executive decision and used some of that to make up the difference for the coffees and teacakes. But I'm now officially at £0 in my purse! So the next 5 days will have to be NSD's. To be honest I've done my going out for the week and we're not at the van this weekend, so it shouldn't be too hard.

It's an odd feeling having nothing in my purse though in the interests of honesty I can get my hands on cash if I need to, but this diary is just about my personal spends which have all gone this month. xx

I'm nearly always in the no spend corner. So can I join in. The company sounds good :rotfl:

Your purse might be empty but you're in control and you've had 'fun' and done things you enjoy :)

  • I'm glad DS enjoyed his residential trip. Although it was out of his comfort zone it will have increased his self confidence to have had that experience :).

You're being very strong willed not to spend money from the joint account and I salute you for it :D.

WB - you're always welcome in my corner. You're right, the company is fantastic :) and yes the money has gone but at least I know where :T

HHD - it's definitely good for his confidence. He's a really nice lad and is well liked but prefers to take a back seat in things - very much like me in a lot of ways. The joint account is definitely a safety net but I really try not to use it for anything personal. Once my money has gone it's gone :o

Beanie - have to say joint accounts are pretty good ;) If I wanted something I could dip in but there are so many people on here who are working really hard to keep to their budgets that I'm sure I can hold out for a few days without spending anything. xx

Can I join the definitely no spends corner? Have found there's 78 weeks in March and it appears I'll only get sick pay for one of them. Fingers crossed my esa assessment goes ok next week for some back dated cash.

:rotfl: March does seem to have gone on forever CG. I don't like wishing my days away but I'm looking forward to April arriving so I can start over. Good luck with the ESA. xx
