I am pleased DS had a good time :)

It was DS school year groups turn for their first residential (he is year 4) was five days away to Edinburgh, but he did not want to go, he would have had fun, but he gets really anxious when he isn't with us overnight (on the odd occasion the kids stay at grandparents) I tried to gently persuade him but he didn't want to, bless him xx

Hey Tea, just catching up after a week or so away. Your pots are looking great and I'm amazed at how much you've been able to earn from surveys already! :) Well done! As you say, free money!

Morning K. I can understand your DS not wanting to be away from home and 5 days is quite a long time for a first trip. DS's first away from home experience was a weekend when he was in Y6. He really wasn't keen on going but didn't want to miss out on the fun either. He was glad he went but was glad to be home - same as this trip :D He's never slept over at grandparents either, he just prefers being in his own house.

On the other side of the coin we have DD who would go to anything and everything that was on offer. One particular summer, think she was about 12, when she was really bored and driving me mad, I threatened to send her away to summer camp. She was thrilled with the idea and actually ended up going away for a week. She didn't know a soul but that didn't stop her and she did it the year after as well. :rotfl: When I think about what she used to do, it's why I can't understand her anxiety/panic attacks about things as she got older, although she's much better these days.

I'm sure when DS hears all about the trip from his friends he'll be putting his name on the list next year. xx

Morning HG :) I have just rather smugly handed over the dog grooming money from one of my pots, rather than doing my usual scrabbling around for the cash :rotfl:

The 'free' money isn't bad is it, definitely worth the small amount of time and effort I put in.

Hope you and the family are all well. Have a great week. xx

Thanks WB :) I'm sure your DS will have a ball on his residential, they do some really good things. A little tip. Pack a bag for wet/muddy clothes! I forgot this time and although he only wore a few things I had to wash everything because it was damp and muddy :o xx

    Morning Everybody :)

    Day 26/31, NSD's 13/15, Prolific £1.50 cleared, £1 pending, Cash for 22nd-31st March £2.36

So, after yesterdays spends and meal out, I've got £2.36 left. I'm out shopping today and although everything I need can come out of the joint account it's my turn to buy coffees so I'm going to have to dip into my survey money. :o

It's been a very spendy month and I feel like I've lost control but I haven't. I've been re-jigging money around for certain things and also buying things with my spends and I'm not used to having nothing left over to carry forward but actually, I know exactly where I'm up to and what I'm doing. More importantly I can account for every penny - well, near as damn it.

NSD's have been harder to achieve this month but now I've no money left I'll definitely hit my target of 15.

Hope everybody has a good day. xx

Nice to see your dog grooming smugness :) It's a good feeling spending from money that you've saved for a specific purpose! Well done.

Eek to the teeny tiny amount left in the purse, but as you said, it'll encourage you to hit your NSDs and you do have money to juggle if necessary. We all have some months that are more expensive than others so i'm sure next month will bring you back in line with what you're used to.

    Have a good one :)

Beanie - there might be no money left but yes :j:j to actually knowing where it's all gone :rotfl: x

HG - Oh it felt so good going to my pot and taking the money out :) The honest truth is I can get my hands on money if I needed to, but I'm determined to stick it out with my spending quota. So many people on here have no choice and I'm sure a few days without spending will be possible. x

K - I'm not ashamed to say I took that smug feeling and totally owned it :D x
