K and HHD - I found user CP - eventually :rotfl: so will use that from now on. I'm going to unsubscribe to everything and then subscribe again.

Beanie - I set up daily email notifications and everything was fine and dandy up until a few days ago. K's diary and Balancebefore50 are 2 that are definitely not coming through. How are things in your neck of the woods. If you fancy a rant/moan/offload you know where I am. xx

    Better post today's happenings then.

    Day 18/28, 13 NSD's, Prolific £19.61 cleared, £1.90 pending.....still Cash £16.30 for 15th-21st Feb

A good start to the week with 2 scratchcards from Shoppix that gave me 30 points. PA has cleared another 20p :o I wouldn't mind so much if I was bumping up the money while I was waiting but it's gone very quiet again.

It's DD's birthday today. She's not here though and apart from that nothing has happened of any interest today. Think I've missed a couple of NSD's off my tally, not to worry. I do need to go over to the NSD diary though and bring myself up to date.

And that's about it. Hope you've all had a good Monday. xx
  • Hope DD has had a good day today Tea it sounds like you had a lovely weekend celebrating with her.

Your pots and things are all looking organised and growing nicely. You're doing so well

Thanks WB. DD had a lovely weekend and it's always nice to catch up with her. :) I know I keep saying this but I LOVE my pots. :rotfl:

    Day 19/28, 13 NSD's, Prolific £19.80 cleared, £1.90 pending, Cash £11.30 for 15th-21st Feb

A change of routine today. Went shopping with Mum and my niece instead. Apart from the £5 I gave her to spend everything else I bought was either food or for the house and came out of the joint account.

Must remember to add another pot to my list on Friday when it's 'pay day' :D It's only a small one that I want to allocate £1 every week to. I do a couple of things for charity at Christmas and £50 will cover everything nicely. There's only one I give money to, the rest are donations of things that I buy. For the next few weeks I'll add £2 until I catch up with myself.

It's funny but even though it's only £1, in the past I'd have put this sort of saving off, always telling myself I'll catch up later in the year. But being on here accounting for everything seems to make it all so much easier and even though it's not a lot my money seems to be working so much better for me.

We're having pie, mash and mushy peas for tea. I confess I haven't made it, it's one of those well known northern brands. We probably only have this meal a handful of times a year and I'm sat here counting the hours down. :rotfl:

Hope you've all had a good day. xx
  • Hi Tea

Good to hear you had a nice weekend with DD. You are doing amazing with your NSD's.

I think that is a fab idea to allocate a £1 a week you won't feel it either as oppose to paying £50 out in one go. Your pots are great, you gave me the inspiration for mine so thank you :-)

That is one of my favourite teas, perfect comfort food and we are the same we hardly ever have it. I actually get a pie, chips and mushy peas at the fish shop as I don't eat fish.

Enjoy the rest of your day

  • It's great when you feel in control of your money isn't it, such a lovely feeling :). Your charity pot is also a good idea.

One of my favourite meals is vege sausages, mash and baked beans, so not dissimilar to yours. It's the lure of comfort food :).

NMC - touch wood the pots are working for me but it's definitely backed up by making myself accountable and posting on here. The charity thing is something that I won't let slip but you're right, on top of all the other Christmas spends it's usually more money I'm scratching around for, but not this year. ;) We've had our tea and I'm sat here pleasantly stuffed. xx

HHD - Feeling quite smug that I've remembered my charity money and for once I will be saving up for it in advance. In fact I'm going to give myself a big :T :rotfl: I'm not overly keen on meat and especially struggle if I haven't prepared it myself, so I had cheese & onion pie. It was yummy. Veg sausage (for me), mash and beans are a meal here as well. xx
  • You deserve a big :T :D
