Slipping Through My Fingers

It was lovely Beanie. We were waited on as well which made it even nicer. To be honest I felt a bit guilty. Apart from me, the average age was probably about 75. Some of them could hardly lift the teapots and the rattling cups and saucers full of hot tea coming towards us was quite scary :rotfl: But these lovely ladies can be quite territorial about their jobs so I just let them get on with it.
I hope the pending amount clears soon HG so I can have my £20. Trouble is I want the money but I don't like starting over.0 -
Evening Tea
Sounds like you had a lovely afternoon, I love afternoon tea. Also giving my vote for the nivea moisturiser its one of my favourites, I never pay more than a £1 for it either its such a bargain.
Enjoy the rest of your evening, I really must check out the surveys.
Best wishes

It was a lovely afternoon NMC. Yes, check out the surveys. I'm just waiting for a couple to clear and I'll be able to get my mitts on my £20 :T
Day 14/28, 12 NSD's, Prolific £18.57 cleared, £2.10 pending, Cash £13.75 for 8th-15th Feb
Nothing has changed moneywise since yesterday. I was going to go out for some daffodils but I'll be doing that tomorrow instead when I go and pick up a couple of things for DD's birthday on Monday.
We've started filling out the probate forms. It's all been fairly simple and as hubby is an only child very straightforward. We had to ring and query one section but we got through straight away and the person was very helpful. If anybody finds themselves having to do this I'd definitely recommend having a look at the forms first rather than bringing in the 'professionals'. It's really not too hard and obviously saves money.
It's my pay day tomorrow so I need to decide what to do with my spare money, although I may just use it to buy DD a couple of bits. Her birthday money is coming out of the joint account.
Hope everybody is well. Have a lovely evening. xx0 -
Day 15/28, 12 NSD's, Prolific £19.41 cleared, £2.10 pending, Cash £23.75 for 15th-21st Feb
I've been out and bought a few things for DD to go with her birthday money, wine, chocolates etc. Also finally got my bunch of daffs. This means there's no money left to carry over this week so I'm starting again with £23.75. Out of this I've put £2 in the Theatre pot and £1.75 to the caravan pot. I took some copper to the supermarket and whizzed it through the coin counter and came away with £2.66 so I've also added £2.50 to the CC bonus pot. The extra 16p is floating around in my purse. Just tiny top ups this week, but it all helps.
So February Week 3 starts with £20 cash and my pots looking like this:
Savings £67
DS Savings £20
Christmas £32
Caravan £14.15
Dogs £50
Hairdressers £20
Credit Card £40 extra payment
Theatre Tickets £18
CC Bonus Money £10.25
I'm just 59p from cashing out on PA so fingers crossed that will clear soon. When if does I'll be adding £2.50 each to savings, caravan, theatre tickets and CC bonus payment. The other £10 is being put towards a gift. I've started putting things in bold as it's easier for me to see what I said I'd do when I look back :rotfl:
Hope you all have a lovely Friday. xx0 -

Thanks HHD. I bet you feel like you're on cloud 9 after the good news about the job don't you. :j
OK, not my usual round up today. We've had the little one and DD is home for the weekend as it's her birthday and we won't see her on the actual day so it's been a bit hectic.
Prolific is the same with money still to clearThere have been some spends but I've not had time to decide whether I can cheekily allocate them to the joint account - I'll give it my best shot tomorrow though
, we are ordering Chinese takeaway soon - DD's choice and I'm going to sit back now and enjoy a glass of vino.
Hope you've all had a lovely Saturday. Back tomorrow to update properly. xx0 -
