I haven't a clue what you're on about! But anyhow, just adding my name to the long list of Naughty People who had their posts removed last week (or whenever it was). There seems to be a lot of us about. Maybe we aren't woke enough.
Whatever, nowadays the primary considerations here when it comes to stockpiling supplies are
(a) what can we buy that we always need that is guaranteed to go up in price real soon now?
(b) are we sure that we can eat it before its BBE?
(c) can we actually find room somewhere for it?
Must work out a way of breaking through into next door's kitchen cupboards and fitting a false back so we can utilise some of their storage space ...We're all doomed13 -
Yeah, one of mine got deleted as well - to be fair, although written tongue in cheek, it may have been taken as sharper than intended. C'est la vie.
Si_Clist, Firefly is a popular* televised entertainment - sort of Western-in-Space but not Star Trek.
*For a variable definition of 'popular'. Other televised entertainment available.2024 Fashion on the Ration - 10/66 coupons used

I'm one of the 'ignore' dates people, my dried parsley is a year out of date, but has not long been opened, stored in the dark and still tastes OK.
As for flavouring rice/ couscous I use a stock cube, small, easy to store and most have a long date on them.£71.93/ £180.0012 -

RAS said:I recall a comment made to an author who lived in northern Italy; regarding olive trees and more importantly olive oil.
In WW2, the German PTB regarded these as peasant oddities and they were left out of ration calculations. Those who grew up then were adamant that as long as you had them you wouldn't starve; you could turn weeds into a meal. It also made more of dried pulses and more rarely (given the low flour ration) pasta sauces.
A litre of oil is about 900 calories, and seems to keep better than hard fats, although I suspect that's because oil is often in well sealed bottles rather than less well sealed packs.
So a useful calorie dense food product that can make uncooked or tinned foods edible, and keeps 2 years or more sealed and another 6-12 after opening.- May 2021 Grocery Challenge : £198.72 spent / £300 Budget

I'm a solo householder and am not keen on eating the same meal twice, but would reckon I have around 4 months worth of food and loo roll 😁2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
