Aww, bless you. I've got the kettle on, wanna join me in a socially-distanced cuppa? You'll have to sort your own biscuits, I'm on a diet. Well, until Christmas Eve or the first force-feeding of a mince pie (whichever comes first). Good to 'see' you and the others, too. I mustn't leave it so long next time.

GQ!!! Hiya! How lovely to see you! So glad to hear that you're well enough to be back at work, though I wish you could shield a bit, and use "out in the world" energy just for your allotment and seeing local people. Perfectly understand not liking the new view, it's not attractive at all, if it was like this the first time I saw it, I wouldn't have stayed, actually.
Never mind that - you're here! Have a lovely build up to Christmas, and a lovely Christmas and New Year2023: the year I get to buy a car18 -
Good to see you too, Karmakat. Hope that the planet turning back to the light (roll on Solstice) will represent an improvement in all our lives. If it doesn't, we will have to sacrifice BoJo and MattyHan to appease the old gods...... and I really must get off my duff and make that soup. Have just spoken to the 'rents, Wild Thing is being a total pest following them about whingeing for a lap. She''s get her lap, spend about 20 mins warming up and receiving adoration, then get off and sleep on a cushion. Little beggar.

I hope BoJo and co don't end up in the soup, GQ.
Good to hear your doing better.

Nah, I wouldn't have them as ingredients, they'd be either too flabby or too stringy, with a bitter aftertaste.
Glad to be doing better as well, the full convalescence will take up to next autumn, but I'm getting there. Bliddy well deserve to be, the amount of time I've put in on those physiotherapy exercises. Soup's simmering on the stove. Six leeks' worth of outer leaves proved excessive, I have some of them in the freezer for a later soup. Waste not, want not. I'm keeping a very close eye on fresh produce these days, don't want anything going past it's best or even being wasted.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.
