I did quite a bit of stocking up in February when I could see which way the wind was blowing. Since then I have bought a replacement for everything I have used as and when I use it. That means I am still reasonably well stocked but if I thought there would be another crisis I would probably try and up the stocks a bit. But it means I wouldn't have to be trying to buy large quantities when there might be limits on how much you can buy.
And I still have at least three to four months worth of loo paperIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!12 -

come what may, I know that I do not want to be queueing outside shops in bad weather or stressing about running out of stuff.12 -
Talking to a friend the other day couldn't understand as a single person...why I would want 2 fridgefreezers ....said it's what want.and maybe reduce queuing in a winter lockdown , she thinks I'm wasting my money....let's agree to disagree....stay safe15

I've ordered a second freezer too daz, although there are two of us we only eat one proper meal a day but I think the time has come to have a good backup in the house.

We have had two freezers for at least 20 years. There's only two of us.We live half way up a hill in the Peak District and although the council grits the main road they don't grit the side roads or pavement. If it snows I try not to go out and so keep a good stock of food etc. This year I'm getting extra tins and packets of pasta etc in just in case we have to cope with snow and shortages caused by Brexit.10

I think the supermarkets’ management have done a pretty amazing job and their heroic staff working throughout despite being in contact with the public all the time, meant the short term problems got sorted in the shortest possible time. OK, you couldn’t get online slots at first but that has been sorted for the most part as they have ramped up capacity. A greater contrast with the shambolic testing system is hard to imagineIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!16

If you use internet banking, don't forget to buy spare little flat batteries for your card reader
