Ambulances are cleaned at the end of each trip. You are incredibly lucky to have a patient transport service. Here, you find and pay your own way to all medical appointments. Some charities assist those with specific needs, like chemo. The government only pays for those who have to travel over three hours to reach specialized care not offered in their home community. A routine trip in for blood work? No assistance.16

They probably will build infectious diseases hospitals again. The are already building units to handle infectious diseases within hospital sites. Being as this is Modern Times, they'll be called Hubs.

What's the betting that they'll be called something like Acute Infection Monitoring Hubs but we'll all call them Bug Hubs? One life - your life - live it!19

Thanks, hun. I'm not looking forward to the old sticks-up-the-nose malarkey, but it's a necessary step, as is the two weeks pre-surgical isolation, of course. If I felt better, I would be climbing the walls, as it is, I am glad of the rest!

Well I think I must be one of those hovering between sickness and health. As a family we finished our two week isolation on Friday after one of youngest sons tests came out positive. On Saturday I developed a tight chest, cough and felt generally crappy ( medical term!). Off I went to the testing station again this morning, only one there, to get my third test! The main reason is that OH is booked into work Tuesday onward and we want to be sure I am negative before he starts the contract. I have a slight fever and am feeling very tired but can still taste and smell things so not sure if I have the full set of symptoms or not. One thing I am getting very good at is Covid testing!! Fingers crossed!! Results should come through v early tomorrow if the other results are anything to go by.
