Needmoney, yes Tesco does come in bags at the moment, I have them every 2 weeks, they have not changed the wording as normal delivery is bring the tray into you/ to the door way, which ever you ask for. hth.£71.93/ £180.0013

Thank you all for replies, it just threw me into a bit of panic that with painful joints I'd be keeping the poor driver waiting. One more question do you tip or is it better not to because of the covid and cash thing?Women and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should get used to it.;)

We've just had our Tesco delivery and all of it is in plastic carriers and they've just announced that you can now have up to 95 items in your order, up 10 from the 85 that's been the limit currently.14

I asked when I first started having a delivery and the driver said no to a tip needmoney. I don't know if it was just my driver or if it's policy.

Thanks boultdj, I suppose they have to be just as careful with touching things as we do.Women and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should get used to it.;)

Tipping isn’t necessary - just saying thank you is enough. It’s nice to give positive feedback when you had good service. I’ve contacted customer services on several occasions, the most recent with spec savers yesterday .I know staff appreciate when they are mentioned in regional memos 😃13

Agree with the saying thank you, when this first started I was asking the shop staff how they were coping, hello, thank you and the like and they were shocked, said it made a nice chance to have a polite conversation.£71.93/ £180.0013

I've found even a sentence of chat when queuing is met with startled pleasure. Least I can offer when they're making my life safe & possible. I like to say thank you on the way out as well.
Screwfix are pure click & collect round my way & today there was a 1:1 ratio staff to observed shoppers, but they did sanitizing, distancing, clear routing of clients to tills (all screened) scrupulously careful handover & further routing out. They have a big car park though, so they can gate people in and out both by text & by door staff. Himself was firmly left in the car (to cut down the scrubbing later) but was correctly disciplined to wash before & after unpacking the new tool.11 -
Yes, the new 95 items for Tescos is a bonus - we didn't fill our click and collect order today (though we did get it to 93...). Although, rather naughtily, and for the first time, one item was on today as its sell by date.I wanna be in the room where it happens11

Love & empathy for the other ME-ers. I've had it for 20 years now and in all that time I've not had one single bit of support, help or treatment of any kind from my GP. It's a totally awful horrible condition and has ruined so many lives.
