Mouse up behind the radiator AGAIN. Dislodged it but it managed to run past the OPEN DOOR TO FREEDOM and has taken refuge behind the unit. Where I cannot get at it. Arghhhh my house is a house of doom.
Plasterer still doing our bedroom - should be the last day tomorrow.
Particularly cak day, friend saw me in the park and said I looked frazzled. Work going to be a challenge this week.
House:
Our bedroom: plasterer's domain.
Pickle's bedroom: full of washing and our bedroom furniture.
Bathroom: covered in a fine layer of plaster dust
Hall, stairs & landing: covered in a fine layer of plaster dust.
Living room: doubling as our bedroom, making me feel cluastrophobic
Dining room: dumping ground as usual and hosting our mattress
Kitchen : looks like it's lost some battle.
Car: boot still full of weekend stuff as no where in the house to unpack it to.Outstanding mortgage: £23,181 (December 19)

((Hugs)) Wish. Just keep repeating, "The plasterer will soon be gone...".
Yesterday I managed nothing more than a pile of ironing early in the morning, and a s&s of the kitchen in the evening. But I did spend the day with a friend, supposedly Christmas shopping but in reality catching up over cups of tea. We only manage to meet once a year, so had a lot to catch up on.As I had to take the train to the big town for the occasion (it beat being stuck in Monday traffic, plus battling the big town queues and paying for extortionate parking), that took out most of the day.
Today is a full day at work to make up for yesterday. I can hear DH scraping a thick frost off the car... Deep joy.0 -
Nothing to suggest the mouse has been, erm, dealt with.
Having a :coffee: in bed. Need to process PTA takings today and gather a float for Lasies Night on Thursday, so that's my priority job for today.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning everyone.
Up nice and early as I thought I had to go to an early meeting at my old therapy unit. Nope..had a phone call not long ago to ask to go in this afternoon instead.. Now what do I do?.. I have a list of things to do that wont take long I suppose..
Trouble is as it's all grey and miserable I can't summon up the enthusiasm lol
Well I've had all my meds and have had my breakfast, under protest as I have to take my menopausal tablets with food four times a day. And I'm now sitting on the sofa with the dog curled up next to me..
Think I will wash up breakfast things, have a shower and get dressed. Then update bullet journal, strip the bed ready to be made before bed, sort out and put on another wash load (can only do one load every other day in the winter, drying it is a pain..) Quick Hoover of the landing and stairs then it'll be ready to go to my meeting.
Welcome to the newbies, sorry I forgot to welcome you earlier.
Hugs and spoons to everyone xxxxMortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

ooh mice! Now I'm not particularly scared of them but I'd much prefer them not be in the house - anyone's house - we have a persistent issue in the garage but at least that's outside. I hope you all get yours erm 'dealt with' soon.
Well first day back at flying yesterday went pretty well, not that I got everything done but at least I have a list. So now paid work is done for today I must get one with it.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

Afternoon folks x
Miss Muddy Paws just came into the conservatory whilst I was giving it an impromptu mini clean. I fed her 10 mins ago so I opened the door to see if she wanted to go out so didn’t. She meowed her way in to the kitchen where I discovered I had forgotten I had started to make my lunch and had left the pan on. She saved me a lot more trouble. I have now a pan to try to save.
