Well, I don't care if the house becomes a chaotic mess (more of a chaotic mess.) I'm going out tonight. I'm going to sit on my own in a cinema, watch whatever utter rubbish is on, eat popcorn and not have to do a thing for 2 solid hours. So there. :D

Have a good evening all. (bends knees.)

AGEANDO - thank heaven's you got the boiler tested. The carbon monoxide poisoning would just have sent you all to sleep and you wouldn't have woken up. Doesn't bear thinking about.

    Welcome to HORACE!!

DLB - that must have been a real fright hearing the window smash.

Managed to get a load of ironing done - didn't have a nap! - and I've been to the gym, so something was achieved today.

Well, just heard DH's car so I'm going to put the kettle on - he'll be gasping for a cuppa!

    Anyone heard from AMIE?

    See you all later,

    Feeling a bit blue.

But I've discovered that whizzing a leek and some French beans in the food processor and cooking them in some stock and passata just makes a disgusting smelling, foul looking gloopy mess. So that's a lesson learnt. :rotfl:

Foul looking gloopy mess ..... we usually call that pasta sauce in my house - and lump it!

Had a boyfriend-relatd row with dd last night before coming home and she wasn't talking to me .... until she needed me to pick up dgs after work and take him to mine so she can visit a friend in hospital - all sweetness and light now. She neglected to tell me until I had rearranged everything at w*rk that he has a little friend over so I have both of them here  Dgs had to walk a mile to other dd's school and to keep him going i chatted along sounding like a Peter and Jane book - "where are aiden and nana going - we're going to nana's house - shall we have toast - yes aiden likes toast - nana likes toast too - we both like toast etc etc. He was fine for about 3/4 a mile and then stopped dead and announced "Nana - i'm fed up - and cold - and tired - and sad" so that was that and I had to pick him up and push the buggy with his friend in it.

In my rush I have left the shopping at w*rk so tea is still a bit of a mystery - exoh is supposed to be coming over tonight so might get him to pick up something

have a great evening and hugs to those who aren't well, are feeling overwhelmed or just need one

dont forget to follow with a chippy tea and you have a normal Nelski night:D

Be warned what now follows is a very very serious non mse non OS calculation:

Train Tickets purchased as 2 singles as Martin advises to brum - £9 each :j

Bottle of water (taken with me so asda cheapo) - maybe 30p

Treated by my customer (bless I dont think hes sussed its supposed to be the other way around:rotfl: ) to a gorgeous lunch at a Tapas bar in Brum (highly highly recommemded )cost therefore 0

Coffee at Costa for us both on the way back to the station - £5 expensive I know but did have a free mince pie each:T

Nothing wanted on the train home so cost O

Therefore total cost of my sales call to Brum (which will reap some business im sure) comes in at a bargain - £23.30

cost of car clamping when i got back £60:mad:

I hope he enjoys his Horlicks tonight:mad:

    evening all!

Ellie - so sorry I forgot your wave:doh: here it is, better late than never! :hello: :hello: :hello:

dlb - sorry about your window!

the careers evening was quite interesting plus lots of freebies:T but while I was out the school rang - DS2s teachers are at their wits end with him apparently - behind with his work and poor attitude:mad: am so stressed out with it all as its been going on for ages, we've tried everything to help him. He's got to have a meeting in the morning with his head of year and a lady who supports him with his organisation(or lack of:rolleyes: ) and they are going to ring me at work tomorrow to talk about it. Not looking forward to that!

DH has been feeling quite poorly today, looked really rough when I got home, must have overdone it yesterday.

Off to do the washing up when I've had a quick browse.

    take care all xx
