maby66 wrote:They offered me an intermediate car from Sun Cars for £296 fully inclusive which would make my total holiday cost just over £2200 travelling on a scheduled flight as opposed to charter - which I'm pretty happy with. Add on the £40 Family Travel Insurance from Flexicover from this site and I'm doing well!
Maby, I've paid £266 for 2 weeks rental with Alamo through Usrentacar a UK site), and for that I have a Dodge Durango. I'd recommend you take a look at their website to either get more car for the price you want to pay, or the same type of car for less money.

According to XE.com, $235=£120.
If you are buying the Flexi ticket then Mercury Travel are selling them at £112.
If you wan the Flexi ticket PLUS (inc. Busch Gardens) it will cost you £134.
I have used this agent, and highly recommend them, but not to buy the flexi ticket.
You can spend your time alone re digesting past regrets,
Or you can come to terms and realize you're the only one who can forgive yourself.
Makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

Thanks for the reply. We arrive in orlando at sanford in august. Thomas cook say transfers are not included but want £300 if we want them to sort it. Are there any websites for prebooking coaches, taxis etc? there are 9 adults, 5 kids 5-15 and 1 infant and obviously a shed load of luggage, we arent fussy about transfering in one group so a number of minbuses is not a problem. or can we just jump in a minibus when we get there. We are staying on international drive.0

Have been twice with Virgin and have had Platinum Package insurance both times (which includes additional drivers and a tank of gas) and have never paid any additional charges.
Driving is easier than you might think, roads are wider and slower, eg SR535 is six lanes and 45pmh limit (although everyone seems to drive a steady 5mph above the limit!), and all attractions are well signed. Most junctions have white dotted lines to show you where to go. Basically, they cater well for the huge number of tourists who are all trying to find their way around in unfamiliar territory! The first time we went I was a bit worried about the driving, my husband drove initially but during our second week and the last trip we shared the driving and it was fine. I guess it depends what your used to. We live in a fairly quiet rural area, if you are a regular motorway driver it will be a doddle!

Hoping that someone can help me arrange a flight for family to Orlando that can be booked at the earliest chance.
We are goin to Orlando Aug 2009 but it appears that we will not be able to book until Aug 2008 at the earliest.
Is there any airline/broker that will help me book earlier?
Any help greatly received.
Happy MSE
