Works fine for me- I put in August 13th for a week and it's brought up loads of resorts.

Are you trying winter dates, as I have a feeling Cosmos may not do holidays to FL then (only a feeling, happy to be wrong). If you put in a date it doesn't cover, it just says something ambiguous and unhelpful like "no holidays for your selected date" rather than "try four months later or earlier" :D
I think the problem was I was selecting 8-13 days instead of 7  Don't see why I couldn't book more
  • Hi I have just bought 3 parks with unlimited admission for 14 days - which includes Seaworld, Aquatica and Busch Gardens, incl free transport to BG for $106 each adult.
Pleased with these prices - I got them from the link on Seaworld website

Strange isn't it? Is it because they only do 7 or 14 night holidays? It's the main reason I never use the charters as I like the flexibility of flying out and back exactly when I want :o

hi, thinking bout how much spends we need, going to pofq next month, with ddp...have used ddp before but of course now theres tax/service to pay...

my q is, how much does this add up to roughly for 4 people for a fortnight?? did a few posh meals (2 service) last time (which ran up a bill of just under $400!! at narcossee's alone), which was great but now thinking omg, what would the tax/service charge be for that??? have to say, service is always great in disney so am not hardfaced to leave a meagre tip (yeah i know bout discussions on other threads bout supplementing poor wages), but on the other hand its gonna mount up and eat into our budget...

so, what is everyone else's experiences on the spends on the ddp???

    Hi,
18 months ago we spent $1600 on a family of 4 without the ddp, eating as you mentioned, at some dear and some more reasonable places. This year is our first time on the ddp and, to be frank, it states "gratuities are included" (for parties of less than 6) so I'm not going to be adding to that as Disney pass the gratuities on to the servers (supposedly) and get a hell of a tax break for doing so! My father-in-law went "tip-free" on the ddp last year and nobody seemed to worry.
As a matter of interest, has anyone noticed that if you try to get into an eaterie without pre-booking it is easier if you don't have the dining plan? We went a 18 months back without the ddp and my father-in-law was there at the same time. He (a party of 2 on ddp) could never get in to eat unless he had pre-booked but when we (4 not on ddp) tried, we got into the same spots that had no room for him! So we started asking for space for 6 people, stating we were not on ddp and he would just use his ddp card for his part of the split bill.

It is my understanding that tips are not included in the Disney Dining Plan any longer. I am not saying you are wrong, but are you sure it says that gratuities are included?

I tip 18% for Table Service meals, DDP or not. That is the custom, and when in Rome ...

I think it is included from what I have been reading except for parties over 6.
