Nooooo, don't swim with the dolphins!! Not natural and they're couped up in a manmade arena that's simply too small!

A far more enjoyable swim is a trip to the Crystal or Homassassa River and a swim with the manatee. You go into their natural environment where they come and go as they please. It's certainly something I'll never forget...

Edit: re the dolphins, I was referring to Discovery Cove specifically and incorrectly assumed that's where you were referring to. I believe you can swim with wild dolphins off the Florida Keys...

I'm afraid there isn't anywhere you can swim with wild dolphins; that is strictly illegal in Florida (and other places). The swim-with-dolphins experiences are all done with captive dolphins like Discovery Cove, Key Biscayne Aquarium (Miami) and down in the Keys (at Marathon and Key Largo), the latter two being dolphin research facilities. There is also Dolphin Landings at St Pete Beach that offers some great dolphin-watch cruises on the intracoastal waterway, while the manatee swim is another great natural opportunity and Florida Dolphin Tours in Orlando have several of these opportunities as well.

Can someone please sort me out - I'm confused about the Disney ticket options.

If we want to visit the main Disney parks 5 times (1 of each, but Epcot twice), and go to the water parks 5 times (3xTL and 2xBB), can we do it with a 5 day magic your way PLUS (no hop)? Or do we need a 10 day magic your way PLUS (no hop)?

Also, I know the "no hop" means we can't do more than one main park on the same day, but can we do to a main park and a water park on the same day?

I'm sorry if this has been answered before, I have had a read through the posts, but am still confused.

    Many thanks in advance.

7 DAY ULTIMATE may be cheaper plus you get disney quest and hop as much as you like with it.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

The 7 day ultimate is $328 compared with $275 for the 5 (or 6) Day Magic Your Way MAGIC PLUS.

Thinking about it, I don't think we will be hopping much (from experience, we've only ever been able to drag our way back home after a day in the park; hopping in any shape or form is probably not very realistic for us).

So really, the main question I had was whether or not we get 5 main park days PLUS 5 water park days (for TL and BB) with the 5 Day Magic Your Way MAGIC PLUS.

    Anyone know?
    Thank you.

Actually the sign up is only for the Yanks, as a Brit you do not have to register just rick up with your passport and bob's your uncle :)

There are three main options for this. Gift card to the tune of $75 bucks (you can not spend it everywhere but a lot of places) of free entry for one fora day or a special birthday fass pass which has some pre perinted fast passes for you and your family to use

Gift card seems the best option if you already have a pass to get in

The sign up has a drop down box, with United States, Canada and Other.

It does have the three drop down options but when you select other, it tells you that you just need to turn up with your passport to get free entry.

I didn't go that far with it as I doubt I'll be there for my birthday, just thought it would be nice for a child to receive the email and reminder, or even a 46 year old :)

if you can get this opyion added to you holiday DO IT, its so expensive eating at disney, and didnt know wabout this until it was too late. the americans seem to be switched on to it! dont get the delux one that includes wine as that isnt worth it, but the regular seems a bargain, most people on the last day had so many snack credits left they were taken bags of snacks home with them. the price of the dining plan will be recovered after a few meals i should think, and used well you can get some really expensive restaurant meals equal to a burger and fries. wish we had it we would have saved a fortune

Is this what lots of you guys do then? been redaing on dibb about it but geting confused with ddp and advanced booking

this seems worthwhile (6 adults wont like the cafetria style place s to eat, taying in disney)

having had a superb time in april this year, we are looking to book for the same time next year, but prices are crazy atm. The flights i am finding are either double what i paid for this year or they are indirect. Has anybody recently booked and found a good deal ? Thanks..
