Its our daughters 14th birthday while we are there, so would it be worth getting her a disney birthday button?

We stayed there in January last year.
Its a really good hotel ,great free breakfast but get down early before it gets busy. The pool area is lovely with a hottub and you can use the pools in the other 2 hotels in the complex.
The rooms are lovely and clean and modern with the comfiest beds I have ever slept on.You have picked a great hotel...........enjoy !

We stayed at Fairfield Inn last year and agree with everything chrisandrob says - we would definitely stay there again. It's part of the marriott village and you can use the pools at either of the other two hotels as well.

It includes anyone who has their birthday during a visit to Disney this year! Sign up and take your confirmation email with you along with your passport on the actual day. Free entry or a gift card to the value of the free entry if you have already bought your tickets. The free entry is only valid for one park so if that is what you chose then you have to start at the park you intend to use the free entry for.

Actually the sign up is only for the Yanks, as a Brit you do not have to register just rick up with your passport and bob's your uncle :)

There are three main options for this. Gift card to the tune of $75 bucks (you can not spend it everywhere but a lot of places) of free entry for one fora day or a special birthday fass pass which has some pre perinted fast passes for you and your family to use

Gift card seems the best option if you already have a pass to get in

Brilliant! I was thinking of buying one of those passes that are valid for 14 days but entitle you to 7 days at the parks. Need to read up on it to be honest but that gift card sounds good. Do you know what you can spend it on? Other than that, I suppose the fast pass sounds good. Need to read up on that two. I've got 7 months to gen up!

Can you prebook in with thomas cook the night before?

Yes, I'm pretty sure Thomas Cook Airlines do allow you to check-in the night before at Gatwick, from 4-10pm for flights leaving before mid-day the next day. All your party MUST be present for check-in, though.

The Marriott Village (which includes the Fairfield Inn) is a very good choice in a very good location (although it can get quite busy with traffic and be a bit difficult to get in and out of at peak times), and you will find some good dining choice nearby, notably a Bahama Breewze, Golden Corral (buffet-style), Macaroni Grill, Lone Star Steakhouse and Panera Bread. You are also barely 5 minutes from Disney property, although a bit further from the parks themselves.

    :)
    more questions :)

son has decided he'd like to swim with the dolphins, have a day at the beach and go Quad biking...........

I'm not happy with the last 1.......mainly for the price $80 for approx 80 mins isn't a great deal to me, when I was in dominican we had all day and a meal for that! I know its not the same at all but does anyone know of a little more affordable option.

On a happy note \i think the dinner shows seem good value.

and any deals/good websites for swim with a dolphin?

    thanks in anticipation
    Panda xx
