I'm booking for disney next december (early) in one of the disney hotels, thinking caribbean beach, the prices seem to be rocketing in 2010.
Has anyone got any advice about the weather, I have been before with my son in April 2007 and the weather was good, a bit worried it may be a bit on the cool side.
also has anyone been to discovery cove, I have been pricing the tickets and it makes the trip a lot more expensive, but my son (12) is blind and I think that a swim with the dolphins would be fantastic. Is it worth the extra money
please help!! despartly need some advice
thanks Everyone
December is nice - in fact I love Orlando any time of the year. Wha tyou will find about december is most days will be about mid 70's f and some intot he 80s. What you will notice though is the evenings and nighttimes, it will be cooler say 50s so if you are out late you might need a sweater.
Hope that helpsSelf confessed Florida expertwith over 320 trips there!

If so and you are a member at Old Key West, if you haven't sent your extension paperwork back by January, they will lock you out of booking until you do. Found out this scary fact from DVC while over. Many Brits haven't sent there paperwork back as it requests notary counter-signature.
Sorry to non-DVCers for a post that's a bit specialised, but this is an MSE post as if members don't do this they'll have a paid for asset that they can't use, and will still have to pay dues on.
Ta for this. Have you told the mad lot over on the Dibb?Self confessed Florida expertwith over 320 trips there!

Have now you suggested it! Thanks for that, I hadn't joined the Dibb as I post on wdwinfo instead. I have avoided getting into the Dibb, in case it starts eating my time like MoneySavingExpert does!!Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I'd say it was definitely worth the extra - if you factor in the free admission to the other park/s (depending on which package you choose) it isn't as expensive as it seems at first glance.
You get about half an hour in the water with the dolphins in small groups of up to about 8 people. You get to stroke/feed/kiss etc the dolphin standing in the water. about waist deep, then the finale is when you swim out further and the dolphin tows you back to shore.
The rest o the day you can chill out, snorkel/swim/sunbathe - food and drinks all inclusive -- a real 'rest' day, great to recharge the batteries in a busy holiday!
Done it twice - fantastic.2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

Well, I finally bit the bullet and bought our Disney tickets today, didn't want to wait to see if the dollar would fall any further.
I ordered through the main Disney site http://tickets.disney.go.com/buy/TicketTrans as this allows you to order the 2,3 and 4 day tickets. As we are going as a group (5 adults, 2 teenagers (adults for tix) and 1 child), the savings on buying only the number of days you want add up.
I bought the 2 day + water park fun tix which came to $1670, including sales tax & postage - worked out at about £1100 at the current exchange rate!!
We are going for 2 weeks, and between us also want to do Busch Gardens, Cape Canaveral, Dali Museum and Sea World and once you have added in a couple of days at the Malls and a couple of days by the pool, that is the 2 weeks filled, so I didn't see the point in spending around £1500 on the 5/7day tickets when we wouldn't use them.
Just wish I had bought the tickets a month ago when we decided on the tix we wanted, would have save me another £150!!
Anyone know if it is worth trying to buy Busch Gardens tix in advance from the UK?0 -
Just wondered if anyone could recommend somewhere to stay for our second week in June - having trouble finding accommodation to sleep 5 (2 adults 3 children) in Clearwater / St Petersburg - preferably not too expensive.
Many thanks0 -
