Hi Guys, Im looking at booking flights only for NEXT OCTOBER. Whens the earliest and cheapest that I can book direct flights to orlando?? Prefer midlands but can go from manchester or london if it's a lot cheaper!
Any ideas?
Hi Paul
If direct from the airline usually its 11 months before departure date for outgoing flight and 11 months before return date.
If booking via Virgin holidays for example you can sometimes do up to 18 months in advance.Self confessed Florida expertwith over 320 trips there!

Rather than going to Florida without a car id suggest you save yourself the hassle of a crap holiday and go to Skegness - Crap but cheap.0 -
We are planning on using Disney Magical Express for our holiday next year, however we are taking two weeks in Disney and then a week around the coast. We're hoping to be taken back to the airport from Disney to collect our car hire from the airport. Disney won't ask me anything like flight nos will they? I wouldn't like them to check our bags in on our behalf as I won't really be going on a flight when they take me back?
Hope this makes sense any advice would be appreciated!!!!0 -
Why are you going to the airport to pick up a car? You can pick a car up anywhere and drop it back at the airport, with no extra charges, as long as its from one of the major companies. At least, then you can get your car whenever

Going next May for 3 weeks. 2 adults + 1 (age 7)
Intend on buying Disney 14 day Ultimate tickets £169/£149 (Disney)
Discovery Cove Ultimate £197 (Floridatix.co.uk) £197 (includes Sea World, Aquatica & Busch Gardens for 14 days)
Universal 2 Park Bonus (14 days) (Floridatix.co.uk) £69/£65
These are the cheapest I can find.
Does anyone else have an recommendations or found them cheaper?
I reckon on 8 days at Disney Parks, 2 Universal, 1 SeaW, 1 Busch, 1 Aqu, 1 DC = 14 days total and 7 left.
Anyone recommend Floridatix?0 -
I have followed these instructions but haven't gone through with the booking yet as I am a little concerned whether the tickets will be valid. The password part says 'Universal Orlando Corporate SuperGroup Offer
Please enter the password that was provided to you by Universal Orlando to take advantage of this offer.' As I haven't actually been issued with this code myself I am afraid the tickets will be invalid. Also all faqs on the site relate to orders made in the USA or Canada. I e-mailed the site and was told that I would have to order via International Will Call Delivery option but this was only available for tickets required more than 10 days in advance - no good to me as we go on Tuesday. I would love to hear from any other moneysavers that may have used this site and process.
I will have another look at this tomorrow as being able to do it this way makes a tidy saving although I am still waiting for a reply from the Virgin rep e-mail address I found in an earlier thread.
Has anyone else used this - seems a big saving..0 -
Hi
Going to Orlando late next year and wondering if anyone can help.
What will be best ,
1. staying in a disney hotel.
or
2. staying on international drive.
We are going with a 8 year old and not taking a car, so will need to use public transport.
Also re the disney theme park tickets, is this for the parks like universal studios etc or just the parks where the disney hotels are as well.
Sorry another q's
the disney dining plan is this worth it.
thanks for any info0
