I tip the pizza / chinese delivery guy over here as well - it no wonder I'm poor :rotfl:
Anyway only 24 working days until I'm back in Florida :j but no more Bennigans  Looks like it will have to be Applebee's for ribs now. By the way does anyone know if Dan Marino's has shut down at Pointe Orlando as the one in St Pete's had been taken over when we were there in April, exactly the same menu but a new name & Owners. Hhhhmmmm Lobster Ravioli :j
Hiya
If you want good ribs, let me suggest Smokey Bones

absolutely right. it's being advertised heavily at the moment.
you have to stay at a disney resort for at least 5 days, and they offer a 14 day ticket for the price of a 7 day ticket, and offer free dining (I did not see the small print on this)
Where does it say that you have to stay at a Disney resort for at least 5 days to get the 14 day ticket for the price of a 7 day ticket? I thought you could just book these separately?0 -

Are you flying in PE or UC at all or econ? I am not sure how it all converts but if that is within you 23kg or 32 kg limit then you will be fine. Last year we brought back three bikes and two grass seed spreaders (different flights) and they were just checked in as a box.

We are flying Economy. I just don't want to get to check in in Orlando to be told I can't check it in!
Oh I just don't know what to do. I got a quote from parcel2go and they quoted me £233 to collect in USA and deliver to the UK. At that price I may as well buy the item here in the UK. In case anyone is wondering/puzzled as to what it is I am wanting to bring back. It is a John Deere Gator, pictured here .........
My daughter will love it.
I just need to get it here.If this has helped you please don't forget to click Thanks, thankyou.0 -

That post actually referred to the free dining plan at Disney where you stay at certain Disney resorts and also have to buy your tickets through Disney. If you are staying at a Disney resort without the plan you can buy your tickets wherever.
One point regarding tipping, on the Disney Dining plan it used to be that the tip was included, now its not and you will pay 18% of the bill. Personally I tip $1 per person per day to housekeeping and do so on a daily basis. Restaurants around 15% and that includes buffets, same with taxis.0 -

Hi Lucy,
Give Virgin a call, they're really helpful pre-holiday. Now you've got a picture, you could even send it to them, and ask what they would charge to carry it.

That is a laugh and half.
My recent call to Virgin went something along the lines of:
In strong Indian Accent "Hello how can i help"
Me - "Id like to change the date of my in coming flight please"
VS - "Ok, you would like to book a hotel"
M - "No i would like to change the date of my incoming flight"
V - "I see, so where do you want to book your flight to"
M - "No, i have a flight already booked and would like to change it"
V - "Right, you would like to upgrade your seats"
M - "No - can you please put someoe on who speaks proper English"
V - "Sir i speak werry good English"
M - "Right, so can change the date of my in coming flight please"
V - "Ok, i understand now - Where would you like to stay"
M - Hang up.0 -
Thanks for the picture Lucy. It's fair to say that you did have us all wondering. Looks a great toy though!
Modified to add: I've looked up the manufacturer of these and it looks as though they are Italian, so I'm guessing that they would have to ship them to the US in the first place. Can you find them for a reasonable price over here? I did find them for £399/£400, but have no idea whether that's a good price as I didn't check further. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Hi everyone!
Sorry if this has recently been covered but my question is about upgrading disney tickets so that they don't expire.
We are going next year in October, and plan to get either the 14 day ultimate or the 7 day pass for Disney.
Obviously with the price discount at the moment the Ultimate looks the best deal. But can you make it so that it doesn't expire? Is it only the 5 or 7 day pass?
Also where abouts do you go to upgrade it, and roughly how much does it cost?
Thanks in advance for the replies!0 -

The price in America is $299 which is a big saving if I bought here in the UK, less than half the price if I get it in America.
I'l ring Virgin and I shall let you know what they say, fingers crossed I get one that undersands English :rotfl:If this has helped you please don't forget to click Thanks, thankyou.0 -
have you added VAT and import duty on to that?
It will probably end up being cheaper by peanuts.Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?0
