UKPC Parking ticket (Now received NTK)

Ok so I have my polka decision.
They rejected my appeal.
They said that even though the contract between ukpc and the land owner was not signed they accepted that as written permission.
I emailed back, said that this is not possible how can a unsigned contract bare any evidence of written permission as per bpa guidelines.
They emailed back said it has been reviewed again and they don’t care that it’s not signed.
I now have had a letter from ukpc asking for £100 fine.
This is where I have no idea what to do, I don’t understand how Popla can make that decision.0 -
all you can do now is sit back and await court papers and tell it to a judge, there is no other course of action other than to capitulate and pay in full0

It seems complete madness that Popla can accept an unsigned contract as written permission.
Is it possible to go to ombudsman regarding popla’s Complete incompetence?
I knew the parking fine industry was a scam but when the ‘independent appeal’ is bent (if the parking companies didn’t fine people they wouldn’t exist)
What is even the point :mad:0 -
So they led you a merry dance, then?!Ok so I have my polka decision.

im at the point where imgoing to have to give in and pay.
I know that they have submitted unsigned contract as Written approval which directly breaches the BPA code of practice.
But I cant spend more hours and hours fighting, im getting married in a few months times and this is one stress to much to have to risk bad credit and loads of debt letters and stuff.0 -

Congratulations on forthcoming wedding!
Nobody wants a bad credit rating. However, one thing that is repeated again & again on here is that there is no risk of a PCN affecting your credit rating unless and until you get a CCJ against you and do not pay up.
Debt collectors letters will suggest otherwise - they fly very close to the wind with their lies & insinuations.
Check out the maximum amount you'd pay if you lost this at court. A figure of £225 is in my head ... it's certainly not a lot more and may be less.
I guess if there's no landowner authority then that is one technicality you might win on(?). And there may be others. So seems a shame to give in to scammers for the sake of a possible extra loss of little more than a £100.
I'd make a bad judge as I'd struggle with this due to having a tatty little car that some folk seem to think doesn't merit a whole parking space to itself. But the law is the law & could be on your side.0
