Hi all,
A car was parked at the cinema last night, after having food and returning to it, it had a ticket on the windscreen from UK parking control Ltd,
After reading the Newbie sticky which is great, one would figure the correct action is to wait a couple of weeks and then submit a appeal using the template provided.
However the ticket is misprinted and in the "pay fee" within 14 days is blank...... so.... not sure of the best action.
also they stuck the notice directly in the line of sight of the driver and now there is adhisive smear right in the drivers view surely this is not safe, and this should be some sort of crime in itslef!
Any advice would be great, i dont mind spending the time fighting it but the registered keeper cant really cant have things like CCJ's at this moment in time.
Any help/advice would be great thanks!
pics of ticket are below.
EDIT - additonal info
UK parking control LTD are not a member of IPC but are a memeber of BPA what does this mean?

The misprint is utterly unimportant
The KEEPER does all the appealing using th eblue appeal thread
As you will be aware, given CCJ hasa "judgement" in it, that you actually have to lose a court case AND fail to pay within 1 month for a CCJ to be a concern.0 -
Ok, so we are saying even though the pay £XX.XX within 14 days is blank and is elegiable over text.
the best course is still to go down the route of blue appeal text.
in the circumstances bit of the appeal should it be mentioned about the ticket?
Also should probably mention the ticket was for parking in the furthest most point away from the cinemia but not within a single bay.
maybe would tempted to not mention anything and just wait for the request of evidance and documentation to be answered.
Probably worth mentioning this was a 'free, not display/pay etc'

Payment of £100 and reduced rate of £60. Both visible if you look hard enough.
It's irrelevant as already mentioned. Appeal exactly as per the instructions in the NEWBIES.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Yep, its completely irreleveant. Very little will "invalidate" a simple invoice, especially a missing early payment discount.0

Re PCN number: xxxxxx
I dispute your 'parking charge', as the keeper of the vehicle. I deny any liability or contractual agreement and I will be making a formal complaint about your predatory conduct to your client landowner and to my MP.
There will be no admissions as to who was driving and no assumptions can be drawn. Since your PCN is a vague template, I require ALL photos taken and an explanation of the allegation and your evidence of this.
I also demand to see the contractual agreement between XXXX and the land owner granting permission for this specific type of ‘activity’ and issuing of any PCN Notice
I also demand to see an insurance policy schedule that covers the party whom is responsible for issuing the PCN. As under no circumstances should an uninsured party come into contact with a vehicle of my ownership.
Formal note:
Should you later pursue this charge by way of litigation, note that service of any legal documents by email is expressly disallowed and you are not entitled to assume that the data in this dispute/appeal remains the current address for service in the future.
Yours faithfully,
Think this is ok for a first port of call?

It is the will of Parliament that these scammers be put out of business. Hopefully that will take place in the near future. In the meantime involve your MP, the poor dears are buckling under the weight of complaints about these scammers. Read this one which I wrote earlier
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of alleged contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors. Is has been suggested by an MP that some of these companies may have connections to organised crime.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, (especially Smart}, and others have already been named and shamed in the House of Commons as have Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each week), hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned. They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
The problem has become so widespread that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers.
Sir Greg Knight's Private Members Bill to curb the excesses, and perhaps close down, some of these companies passed its Third Reading in late November, and, with a fair wind, will become Law next year.
All three readings are available to watch on the internet, (some 6-7 hours), and published in Hansard. MPs have an extremely low opinion of the industry. Many are complaining that they are becoming overwhelmed by complaints from members of the public. Add to their burden, complain in the most robust terms about the scammers. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
it is but just with additional request for:
Permission : some of the retailers i spoke to questioned this has even been given
Insurance: Id like to put a civil claim in for the Damage to the 2 stage water repellent coating i just had applied to the windscreen and a new set of bosch Areo wipers which now smear my windscreen ever since the ticket. 0 -
The PCN and sticky residue on the vehicle's windscreen are separate issues.
Send the template in blue from the NEWBIES exactly as it is.
If your car has actually been damaged and you have proof of a financial loss, then start a small claim against the company.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
