Bit of a mixed bag this year isn't it? On the one hand, I seem to be entering more advents than previous years, but on the other hand there seem to be far fewer decent prizes. Where last year and previously it may have been tech or £100 gift cards, this year it's more like boxes of chocolates and bottles of prosecco!

There seems to be a lot of companies not running them this year. I've just looked through last year's list and lots of the ones I entered daily then, aren't running at all. So I suppose the fact I'm entering more than previously, must mean that either new ones have popped up, or I've looked at ones that I skipped in other years...I'd say I'm doing about 80 a day this year compared to maybe 50 last year.

There's still time, a lot of new ones will start on the 12th so some of the old favourites might just be making a fashionable entrance

Argh, had to have a day off already, got advent overload. Did an odd few that I subscribed to but sod the rest. Needed a break.

I've noticed quite a few are doing their advents on Instagram this year.

I've probably only been entering half of the advents I'm following, each day, when last year it was most of them.

    I know - I feel really disappointed.

I know that sounds silly but I miss the games, the pass the parcels, the clicking, the 'are you an instant winner' kind of thing.

Don't get me wrong I am very grateful for the things I have won, but I miss the 'fun' aspect of it.

Oh well! Keep plugging away at them!

I haven't been entering much this year. I'm not one for entering for the sake of a win if i don't like the prize nor do i enter for what i consider to be tat.

I feel the majority of the advent prizes are leaning towards the tat end of the scale and its laughable the amount of people who are losing their minds over for instance a fruit loaf.

Feeling quite disheartened by the advents over the last couple of years and it just shows how much comping has taken off when you see companies giving away a £2 box of chocolates and its getting near enough 1000 entries on facebook.

Bring back the days of old heh!

BTW, Is it me, or does the advents list seem a bit thin on the ground this year.
I'm assuming there are more to come, but it seems a bit meh!! this year.

It's getting to that period where a lot of the advents start to end ... so if you know an advent has ended, please post a comment on the thread.

I'll be going through over the next few days taking out the newly expired comps so it does speed things up if people comment on the thread that it's ended, saves me having to check the dates, especially on the Guessendate ones / ones that don't run on weekends so the end date may be a bit off.

I've seen a couple of these "This is expired" comments already, so thanks for that :)
