Halfway through and I've got advent fatigue! Send help!
I've noticed there are many many comps that seem to be copy and paste from instagram onto fb and twitter something like "follow, follow our page and tag as many feiends as you can" ? Bleh I'm sick of them and the millions of fake friend accounts.
I really miss the instant wins hardly any these days.0 -
sick of all the tag loads of people to win crap. Enjoying doing a few calendars but only doing odds and ends otherwise. Just not feeling it this year.2018 - £562 2019 - £130 2020 - £276 2021 - £106 2022 - £1400

There's so many just doing offers as well, I feel like I cancel most of them down,
Maybe some old favourites will resurface tomorrow being 12 days until Christmas Eve.
December Wins: £300 worth of board games, £500 Tesco Vouchers Best Win in 2023: £500 Tesco Vouchers0 -
The tagging on FB has really got on my nerves this time.
Hardly any of my friends on there couldn't give a toss about comps. So it's not fair to spam them if they aren't interested. It seems like it's catered to all the cliquey groups that do nothing but tag.
I've found that rather tiresome, and have avoided them.
Got to agree with some of you though, some of the prizes have been rather naff this year.
Be LuckyBEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.
comping = nowt more thrillin' than winnin':T :j0 -
I avoid any tagging comps as very few of my fb friends would appreciate being tagged in comps. I also avoid the sharing fb ones as i don't like clogging up my timeline and friends feeds with random comps. (possibly why i don't win on fb very often!)Good luck for 2026 Comping! Be lucky! My February 2026 Wins: Guinness book of records books (web),0

Not many "Win your wish list" comps this year. I've not entered much at all so hardly surprised at no wins. So sick of the tagging comps.2018 wins-12wins0

There was a comp asking to tag 10 people. TEN. Its beyond crazy now. I actually unfollowed them earlier it annoyed me that much.
Yes, there's no win the best toys of the year. Or gadgets of the year or whatever.

The only decent one of the wish list ones (Currys) with prizes worth £1,000's for each daily winner stopped several years ago.
Tag 3 for a 1.25 Kg block of cheese, I don't think so.0 -
long before my time as a comper! I know they had a wishlist own last year, for one winner. I usually like entering the Hush clothing one but I haven't seen it this year. The only decent one of the wish list ones (Currys) with prizes worth £1,000's for each daily winner stopped several years ago.

Even when they cut it down there were still 67 x £500 daily and 9 x £5,000 weekly prizes (Used to run end of Oct into December).
I think 2013 was the last year they ran it and then they decided to concentrate marketing/promotions elsewhere - Basically Black Friday/Cyber Monday took off and become far bigger than the pre-Christmas/Boxing Day period (also without any religious connection).0
