Hello everybody!
I just stumbled upon this thread and oh my God I am in love. I finally found like-minded people here.
I tend to be very frugal and only buy the things I really need / want / know that I could get good use of (like the new second hand purse I got). My OH is the complete different: he has more clothes than me and goes shopping once a week. We never fight about it though, apart from my casual comments like "how many black boots can one have?" :rotfl:
I'd rather buy second hand and vintage stuff too ... but like I said only things that I REALLY need. But I do like splurging too every now and then.
We're already planning our summer vacation and with the money I've saved I could already pay for everything (including food etc.). I've been selling a few things on eb@y too to get a bit of money. That usually ends up in my PayPal account and I can use it right away - if I want to. Figured that I will always put something into my actual bank account and the end of the month. So let's say on December 31st I have 125 € in my PayPal account I will transfer 25 into my bank. (Reading that made no sense at all but I still hope you understand).
Anyway, off to read the rest of the thread! :T:beer:weight loss journey: 3 KG / 8 KG

Good morning my lovelies.
Lisbon today. Bit hazy but it’s early yet and the sun is making a concerted effort to break through. Just enjoyed a leisurely breakfast, sitting on a terrace, looking out over tge harbour at all the yachts day dreaming which one I like the best. Lol.
Im really “living it large” this week.
I feel so rested - I look 10 years younger. All the tiredness and stress must have taken more of a toll than I realised. My skin is glowing.
Found a fantastic face cream in fuertaventura. It was only 6 euros for 100 ml and it is brilliant. My face loves it. I wished I’d bought more. I am going to try and see if I can source it when I get home.
Have been reading but haven’t really got time to
Comment much. Will catch up when I get back.
Going ashore in a bit. So will say ta ta for now.0 -

We had a bit of a drama last night:Sooty, my 8 month old Grandcat, got stuck in a really high tree, inside a locked allotment. He'd been missing at this point for 24 hoursMy DD rang both the RSPCA, n the fire brigade who both couldn't help .By this time the cat , DD n the Grandkids were all screaming. Anyway luckily one of their neighbours brought a ladder, n SIL finally went up get him, in thr pitch black. He's now home n under house arrest for a while
I couldn't cope with the worry of a cat going missing:eek:"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Not much champagne going on here. Just had a nice mince pie, that's as exciting as my day gets at the moment. I tell a lie, I'm going out for a meal with some friends tomorrow.0

No Johns but there’s an Adrian.
Sweet but not really my type but ok as a friend. :rotfl:
Ooh the engines are firing up time to set sail. Time for the sail away party.
Tonight is fancy dress. British theme. I’ve got a mini “mod” dress with a Union Jack motif. And a matching Beatle hat. I’ll look a right sight.
It’s a larff. Innit.0
