I am getting my hair cut today. I have a mobile hairdresser who has been doing my hair for years so very reasonable in price.
I am going out tomorrow night to meet my friend for dinner. I am going to go and pick out an outfit to wear in a minute as the restaurant is in central London.:cool:Prinzessilein wrote: »Sitting here with the heating on...it is FREEZING today...and the meds I take seem to make me feel the cold even more....
I felt freezing yesterday! I went out early in the morning and then could not warm up at all at home until I had a hot bath in the evening.Popping in for a quick hello.
Looking forward to getting to know you all, now that the silly season is over, and life is getting back to normal

:hello:I had a fabulous holiday in Goa, the apartment, weather, food and people I met were brilliant.I did lots of sight seeing, sunbathing, n too much eating out!Even though I went on my own, I met a great bunch of friends to go out with.
Oh, wow, sounded lovely.:)1 -
Good morning everyone.
Candy.....how lovely to see you. Your holiday sounds wonderful. All that lovely sunshine working it's magic. That's a long time to wait to see the neurologist. Hope they can help you.
Prinzess.... what an achievement.....you can be justifiably proud of yourself. It's a lovey feeling isn't it when you can buy nice clothes again.
Well at the risk of sounding like an old worn out record my lurgy is worse than ever.....I can now add diarrhoea to my symptoms. So I won't be going anywhere today.. I have to say getting I pretty exasperated now. I never have been a patient patient but I'm starting to get pretty cheesed off. Lol.
I shouldn't be surprised though, my grandson and DIL were poorly off and on for over 3 weeks with it so it was never going to be a quick recovery.
Hey ho......another day just pottering about.
This too will pass.;)1 -

Nah......waste of time. :rotfl: its viral not a bacterium so nature just has to take its course. Anti biotics would be useless.
But thanks for the hugs.....
At least I can't infect you over the internet.:rotfl:1 -

LL.....hope you are feeling better today.
Finally have what I consider to be a Champagne moment.
Went to see Sandi Toksvig last night in her 'National Trevor' show.
It was at a theatre that I had worked at many years ago so chose the cheapest tickets. Front row tickets in the stalls, right at the end near the exit. However, although this building has had major refit over a few years I doubted that the Concert Hall would have changed because echostics meant to be great. I was right. For this type of production the seat was great.
So for 18 squids I had a great evening.
Ms Toksvig, apart from being highly intelligent/educated is incredibly warm and funny. I loved her and the show.
Sorry for not being as informative/eruldite as Ms Sugarbaby but have difficulty expressing myself. And in advance I know there are spelling mistakes. Sorry ...........

Sorry about the ill people on here.:( I hope you all feel a bit better soon.
I was just saying on another thread that buying an air purifier for my bedroom has really seemed to relieve the constant ear and sinus infections I had been getting the last few years.
My champagne moments were buying a few new bits from George in Asda and sorting out my kitchen. I went through everything, cleaned and rearranged the cupboards and have a large bag of kitchen stuff to go to the charity shop.
I am going out tonight but that won't be a lemonade budget as I looked online and the restaurant is quite pricey, by my standard. I haven't seen my friend since the summer so it will be worth it.:Abalabooberlies wrote: »Finally have what I consider to be a Champagne moment.
