Water meter leak!! Help

    it was 33393 and after an hour it was 33394..... so if they are external does that mean that that is my consumption- like I said my bill is extremely high for 2 of us who are quite 'water conscious'... it was £255 for 6 months !

    I think you are reading it wrong, you mean 333.93 / 333.94 the red digits are the decimals, it dosent sound like a big leak, if it uses .01 in an hour it will take 99 hours to turn the white digit which is 1cube (1000 litres) roughly £2, but it soon adds up over the 6 month period

    10 litres an hour, 1 cubic metre in 4 days - things should be getting a little soggy somewhere.

    it certainly has been adding up !! The Water Technician is coming tomorrow so wil find out all facts- hopefully will be under the garden so not expensive to put back !!

    result !! feminine charm works a treat !! man just been, said it is a small leak but can be fixed... said he was going to get the form for me to sign and I said well I don't really want to !! explained the situation about me moving and he said I can just walk away from here and say that he's told me to get the stop tap fixed as its not working ! very nice man. Being nice to people gets you everywhere x

    wouldn't be able to find out unless they ripped it all up which isn't now going to happen. He said it was a small leak though.
