Can you advertise house viewings on ebay for 1p each or would that screw you up with the estate agents?

Maybe you should just reduce the house a bit on the condition you get a quick sale from any buyer?

  • What about putting on of the houses up for auction you may not get the price you want but you can put a reserve on it.

  • aww Mrs T more big hugs for you! You will sort this, have faith! If you are struggling to meet payments would it be wrth a call to cccs or simular to see if you could do a DMP? I appreciate that this is a more long term measure but of OH is getting physically ill then its worth thinking about....The house seems to be the main pressure and it would be worth thinking about advertising on the internet as a way of shifting it. Cant rememberthe name of the site but there;s a good online site that people use alot. Just a thought. I wish I had the solution for you and am sure that you are doing all you can to sort this. Just wanted to send a hugs & say I'm thinking of you!

Well bit of an update.....erm... OH managed to secure a loan for 7.4% apr for us to knock these credit cards on the head.

I rang the EA's and have knocked £5000 off the asking price on the house.

So it's a bit of wait and see now, I don't feel relieved just ....ahh...I don't know...still wierd and not really here.

Anyway just thought I'd let you know.

Well done on the cheap loan and I hope the price drop gets things moving. Hope you feel a bit better and can sleep well tonight.

Oh and I asked about putting the house up for auction but our EA said it wouldn't be the best time of year to do this, wait until feb/march time.

  • Good that its sorted. When you do sell would you then be able to pay the loan off? You sound a bit brighter anyway & I hope you managed a good nights sleep last night. PLEASE cut the CC's up though...I made the fatal mistake of not doing that & quickly slipping into old way and having got them down to 1700 they're back up again...kicking myself & would hate for you to be in the same position...keep us posted! Fingers crossed for the house! HAve you nagged the estate agent for what they are doing to sell the house - ie internet, local papers etc? I think its rightmove that I was thinking of or fish4homes... Big hugs!
