Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Piggers I am so sorry you are going through this, have a huge hug xxx
Please can I ask for the power of flylady to be behind me tomorrow morning? We have a difficult meeting to do with DH business partner. The business is very very quiet (Brexit thank you ) and income has halved. We need to let one our lads go as we simply cannot afford his wages anymore but the business partner wants to keep everything as it ismy basic question to him is where do we find this money from?
DH needs out, the business is a drain and he earns hardly anything anymore. Limited companies in this country are screwed every which way.
Rant over, sorry no flying yet xxMFW

I'm so sorry atypicalblonde. To weather any potential storm businesses need to be agile! I work in business strategy - we have about 200 staff in an organisation that traditionally tracks the market and I am worried. Anyway!!!
I won't be cleaning today as I'm in the office, but will do Friday's tasks tomorrow as our bathroom is neglected. Everything is clutterfree as I'm a neat freak, but unfortunately I'm definitely not a clean freak and there's a very limescale-y shower door and some dull grouting that needs addressing!!0 -
Piggers hugs, like the others wow, but then from what you write about CF I am not totally suprised..................he needs to move on, and find something else to take up is time.........
ATB, hard work running your own company, I know, been there, you and your OH need get get your plans down in writting so when you have the meeting, you have notes to refer to, in case the business partner goes off at a tangent.
Can your OH ask the partner to buy him out, and then OH looks for something else?
Can you look for another income stream for the business ie think outside the box, to see what you sell / service any one else in another industry can use. (sorry I don't know what you actually do)
Can you contract the business including OH / workers to another company on a long term basis?
Pm me if you want.
Daily stuff done
Lunch madeHaving retired in March, then asked to go back for 6 weeks, in September, I work I am doing has been iced for now, owing to various problems with the project, but they have asked me to stay on until the end of this month, to do other stuff, so I have said yes.......................my view is 'don't slam the door behind you' as you never know what may happen in the future............. the project I was working on will go live sooner or later, so I may be asked back to help.:)

Getting there slowly with being more organised during the week. Got a load of laundry done and ironed. Tonight and tomorrow's dinner planned and currently in the slow cooker (I bought slow cooker last night to replace one that broke months ago). Aim to do a food plan for the rest of the month over the weekend. It doesn't seem like much but I have carved out more time to enjoy some down time this weekend which is a step in the right direction.
Pigpen, there are no words! Sending positive vibes.0 -
Welcome to newbies.
pigpen words fail me as well.
Filled bird feeders.
Emptied dw.
Did other washing up.
Folded and put away a basket of clean clothes.
Wrote a few Xmas cards.
Started a report.
Now sitting rather in shock after dentist extracted split tooth; plan had been root canal treatment but as she drilled, the extent of the crack could be seen so with a few wrenches and wrestles out it came. She told me to take it easy this afternoon, so here I sit. Although with bil arriving later and shopping to do with mil it may not be for long. At least having had so many visitors lately, it is fairly tidy in most of the house. The rest of the mess we just blame the decorating.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Piggers ye gods, I'd hoped never to hear of another teen being where I was at that age. My heart goes out to poor Moomin it truly does. I wish there was something I could say to her to help her through this awful, awful crisis CF is putting her - and you - through.
Atb all the Flylady vibes I can muster for the business meeting.
Flying-wise - 2 x WM loads done, tried putting it outside, but it rained, so it's now in the bathroom on A-frames. I ain't doing the Washing Hokey Cokey for anyone! If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
TY all.. Moomin is very down today.. yesterday evening school took it upon themselves to ring cf and reward his abusive behaviour by telling him how unhappy and hurt she is. So I have had a growl at them and said they are not to pass any information to him without her say so. The police officers we spoke to on Wednesday said she was competent enough to make that decision. Why would they tell the abuser such details about their victim other than to pat them on the bck and tell them 'job well done' ... I then had the CAMHS nurse ring and tell them it wasn't helpful and Moo would not trust them or disclose anything to them if she thought they would report back to him every 5 minutes... thankfully she understood I wasn't being the 'psycho-ex' I just want Moomin in control of that situation not him to have power over her to use her mental health against her. I was sensible and rational and explained in detail.. and also added she is the 7th child he has done this too and I have got the others through and we would work together to help Moomin... but I am raging!!!
Dishwasher is not insured so I am buying a second hand cheapy one and using that until it dies whilst saving up for a new one. It is the cheapest option long term.
Roland has not yet died
My pots are not washed
The washing is not done
I have spent most of this week on the phone to a variety of organisations trying to keep my daughter alive.. a million more calls and appointments next week and hopefully we will start to turn a corner.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Pigpen So sorry Moo has having to go through this. Kind thoughts to you all x
It is over a year here since we have been in the pass the parcel circle of trying to get some help. I am sick of telling our story and then being past to another worker endlessly. I think they are wasting time until he is 18 and out of child services. I have to go on more parenting courses and DS2 is getting anger lessons. SW said it is not a SS issue and we should call the police on him. Great for someone with very low self esteem.
